Small correction, the parliamentary leader of the party is the Prime Minister. The parliamentary leader and the national leader of the party (usually the party president) are not always the same person... in fact, if memory serves me, in the ALP if the national president is an MP they can't take up a ministry.Jerram Fahey said:Ok, in Australian politics we don't vote for an individual like a president, we vote vote for party, and the leader of the party is the Prime Minister.
