Grats on the first thread Gary

Autumn this year is just the same as Summer in the UK, because we had no Summer. Only gray days with the occasional rainstorm, and a tiny amount of sun.

The only difference we'll see is pretty brown and red leaves on the trees, and they will soon be blown away by the next inevitable gale, to leave only the ugly skeletons of the trees to be exposed over the next 7 months. Oh and people will stop bitching about how it's not sunny, and start bitching about how it's too windy. Just like every other fucking Autumn.

Erm, apple season? I dunno.

hahaha yeah, thats an optimists approch.
i was actually thinking as well that the food was better just because apple pie is more common and everyone thinks that salads can go screw themselves.

Fall is great. This fall in particular. We had a pretty hot summer, considering our AC broke towards the end of it, and I didn't think it was worthwhile to buy another one just yet. The fall is like the savior of the seasons. It's cool, but not cold, there's Halloween, which is always kinda fun with the kids and birthdays I get to celebrate in the fall. Lots of kids in our family have birthdays in the fall. Fall is great!

I love Autumn, lots of pretty colors. Plus it means Halloween is coming soon!

everything pretty dies. it's wet and cold and windy. it gets dark early. the only good thing about autumn and winter is it's use in cinematography

Ahhh, you see if you grow them from home, they are firm, succulent and fleshy. None of them shitty yellow seeds and watery flesh you get from the supermarket ones

according to my calendar autum doesnt officialy start until the 22nd but its already starting to get cold here and its about time i would much rather be freezing the hot

hey i love snow... but having said that we measure snow in millimetres here rather than feet, so its still a novilty.
