Well, perhaps if you ask James Cameron really really nicely, he'll do it.

Then again, I can't see a 2 hour film about mining being particularly interesting.

How about a two hour film about humanity killing all the Na'vi in a big epic war?

I'd go for that, genocide is fun. Seriously though, that would be the best, a nice turn from the typical good guys win

Actually, James Cameron is writing a series of books as prequels. I know, it's strange, but true: look it up. There may be another movie in the works too, I suppose, but I know he's working on the books, and I doubt he'd work on both at once.

Off topic but I heard that the guy who played Jake Sully was found in the back of a car asleep and they asked him did he want to be in a movie.
