Still no new episodes?

ARRRRGGG!!!

It's good, not as great as the original (so far), but still good. Why the dude from Big O is in it... I have no idea.
Also, who was the "Dude from Big-O"? I missed that.
Did they show the second episode on t.v. yet? They released the first two over a week ago online, and in the second episode... eyebrows...

OK, I must be among the last too still watch shows on TV, on occasion anyway.

Been waiting for this for a while, so when I found out it already aired I watched it as soon as possible, and boy was I entertained, not only was the show itself great but it was kind of a nostalgic experience for me since I don't watch cartoons anymore.

Not sure if I like the whole Steampunk thing yet but I think I'll grow to like it.

Just watched it. Loved it. I'd wondered what they were up to, making the avatar's airbending training the first thing...then I saw the avatar and got it.

Love her. I do have a thing for unabashedly heroic characters, and she won me over completely by the end of the second episode, by showing she's not just entitled and self-centered. The apology caught me off-guard, and I do look forward to the interactions between her and Tenzin.

Also, the Pro-Bending thing was seriously cool. And I love how they named a character for Mako, that was a nice touch.

I like what I see so far. Pro bending is a very cool sport though I curious about the rules ( the Fire Ferret team won a match even though they lost 2 out of three rounds).
It scores like boxing, basically. You can win rounds by points (i.e. doing better) and make it a "best of" decision win, but you can also flat-out win an entire match via knockout.

LOVED IT!

I got to say i didn't expect jazz be used as the fight music but it works so damn well i freaking love it.

Great start indeed. Still have minor concerns which are probably just paranoia, since the major setting/plot seems to be following the Dragon Age approach...meaning first one is all over the world (pretty much) and the 2nd is limited to just one city. And i think most of us know how that turned out (story-wise).

also quick thought regarding the spirit world aspect. obviously we will see Aang at some point just like he saw Roku last series. Anyway I got a feeling that masked bad guy of the series that seems to be able to fuck with peoples minds in their sleep according to the previews is some kind of spirit world shit happening there.

NEW THOUGHT...face stealer is involved somehow =p
