AvP or Just Cause 2?

While playing Just Cause 2, I ordered a High Speed Jet while I was on a mountain, with a long curving road going down the mountain I planned to use as a runway. I got in the plane, and headed down the road. The road was iced over. The very edge of my wing hit a post on the side of the road. I spun around, flipped over, and continued to accelerate upside down with my cockpit skating along the ice. I flew off a cliff and into the sky. I then simply turned rightside up and flew to my next mission.

It can get pretty crazy.

I bought Just Cause 2 for $8 on Steam when it was on sale!

Haven't played AVP though. Watched it played however, and...well...it looks like any other first person shooter, just with...well...aliens. I guess.

Just Cause 2 is like...Saints Row 2 met GTA4, got knocked up, aaaand...oh dear, this analogy is going no where. Uhh, alright: Just Cause 2 is like Saints Row 2 meets GTA4, and is not as fun as the former, and is significantly more entertaining than the latter! There, how's that.

Just Cause 2 why?
Because in one mission you fight ninja's atop a mountainside base and then you need to base-jump off of it while a nuclear submarine fires rockets at the base and land on a car filled with more ninjas.

JC2, easily. AvP is horrible

hold out for Aliens: Colonial Marines. should be coming out sometime next year, and is made by a competent studio who knows what theyre doing. (Gearbox Software)

besides, JC2 is a ton of fun. its one of the wildest sandbox games ever made, for sure.

Just Cause 2 keeps freezing for me on Steam. These two little white arrows also keep appearing below the character. It can be tremendous fun, but it's also really frustrating. One last warning about Just Cause 2, never land a plane.

AvP for the simple reason that you can run on the ceiling drop down behind them and put your second mouth through there skull.

After only a couple of hours of play my impression is that JC2 regards aircraft less like vehicles and more like semi-guided missiles that you can, incidentally, sit in (or on...)

I managed to land a plane in the first JC...After about an hour of ordering more aircraft,did they make it harder in the sequel?

Just Cause 2. Even though the world is bland, it's so freakin huge, and you can do some pretty over the top things with your grappling hook.
