Great feedback so far. I really appreciate everyone's input. For those of you that don't have kids yet - start thinking of names now. This is insanely difficult. Glad alot of you are so keen on some of our potential choices though. Thanks again!

Zebulon

It's a real name. The explorer who discovered Pike's Peak (for Europeans) was named Zebulon Pike.
That is a damn cool name. Sounds like a super-villain though.

If I ever have twins, I'm demanding they be named Meriadoc and Peregrin.
Yeah. Merry and Pippin from LOTR
Stuff it.
Nice.

Now to the OP, how about Mateo? It sounds foreign (my teacher told me about it, she went to Peru and met a boy called that)

I liked Edgar.

Name him/her after your favorite author/character? I don't know!

I also support Tiberius, Jesus and Wolfgang as an above poster said.

God is also a pretty nice name.

How about Zheng He? Name him after a famous eunuch!

Says the Mouth of Sauron?

Which reminds me of another name. Sargon.

He invented armies.

Weighted Companion Cube?

Ok, in all seriousness: I'd say Levi because most of the others appear to be slightly old or strange that could lead to bullying.

Yes, but I'm not called Mouth of Sauron Smith am I? lol

Sargon sounds good, Sarge as a nickname, which is also pretty cool.

Name him Dorian Gray. That is all.
What I was going to say. I also like Brand and Rhys.

How about Lief? Or Liam. Or Eirikr (but only if you want him to be a sad loner all his life)

A friend of mine has the middle name Syrik, I think it's a sweet name. I have a few others, but I made most of them up a long time back; I haven't seen anyone with them before.

...ahh, I'll post 'em anyway.

Hey guys. Well, my fiancee and I are expecting a baby boy in late March, but we've yet to decide on a name for him. It's such a chore wading through baby name websites and huge lists of the same dull names. I thought I'd turn to the forums of a few sites I enjoy and get some feedback from the folks out there. Being as you're all gamers, and characters often have pretty epic names, I suspect you guys can come up with some interesting stuff. We don't want something real traditional, but nothing far out in left field. Here's a quick list of some of the things we like and have in mind:

Edgar, Levi, Fredric, Spencer, Daniel, Victor, Vance, Gabriel, Xavier, Silas, Brand, Bron, Reuben, Grey, Dorian, Tobias, Kai, Rhys, and Gideon.

That's a relatively short list of some of the things we like. If you guys want to help out with any suggestions, please feel free. If you want to suggest a first and middle name, that's great. If there's a name you see up there you like, let us know. All feedback is welcome.

Thanks!
