I HAS THAT GAME, TIS MADE OF EPIC WIN JUICE! On a more ironic note, Psychonaus. Now a serious one, Omega Boost for PS1, wish I could find the soundtrack for that.dragon_of_red said:War of the Monsters, it was a 3D fighting game were 2 monsters faught, it was so damn awesome.
THAT IS THE MOST AWESOME GAME EVARR, AND I DARE YOU TO DISAGREE WITH ME!dragon_of_red said:War of the Monsters, it was a 3D fighting game were 2 monsters faught, it was so damn awesome.
Except for the thrice-damned sewer level, which was just an exercise in monotony.Treblaine said:Star Wars: Dark Forces (1995 - PC)
Great Doom-clone but this was back in the day when "doom-clone" was somehow a pejorative term and people couldn't like this game for what it was, i.e. fun blasty shooter that immerses you in the star wars universe with all the music and even 16-bit iterations of John William's score. You really felt like Han and Luke shooting your way through the Death Star.
Holy crap, I had that game. Never did manage to get an A rank on level 11. The arena mode was the best with friends.Jennacide said:Silent Bomber. PS1 game that sold horrificly, and was a goddam blast to play.
I remember that shit, ugh...Iwata said:Except for the thrice-damned sewer level, which was just an exercise in monotony.Treblaine said:Star Wars: Dark Forces (1995 - PC)

Why is it always the bloody sewer level?
The first game to use the name Vahn for a main character and the combat system was cool, I still remember left, left, down was Hyper Elbow. Legaia Dual Saga and LoG 2 exist somewheres69-5 said:The same one I've posted on multiple threads of the same nature (search bars are a wonderful thing)
Legend of Legaia
They're not the exact same game, but the two are so similar that having both of them in existence is redundant. Mr. Do! was the one you could get on the Colecovision, whereas I think Dig Dug was more common on the Atari platform.AvsJoe said:They're the same game? I always hear people talking about Dig Dug but I've never played it. However I played a crap-ton of Mr. Do! as a kid and never hear anyone mentioning it. Makes a lot of sense now. Thanks for clearing it up for me.derelict said:Oh, cmon. Everyone knows Mr. Do! (aka Dig Dug)AvsJoe said:I've never heard anyone other than myself talk about:
Culdecept Saga
Colosseum: Road to Freedom
Crush, Kill, Destroy
Mr. Do!
Extermination
I don't know whether or not anyone has ever heard of these titles but I do know that they're not talked about much.
I have Silent Bomber.Jennacide said:Silent Bomber. PS1 game that sold horrificly, and was a goddam blast to play.
Oh, and Okage. It saddens me like nobody played that game, Evil King Stan was awesome.
i believe sir/madam , i have modified my post and your list, to incorporate games I missedJeanLuc761 said:While they seem to be fairly well known on this website, I rarely meet people who know of the following:
Future Cop L.A.P.D.
Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver (such an underrated series)
War of the Monsters (Like the Godzilla games but awesome)
Earthworm jim
Crash tag team racing
lol. I thought that too, but it was more of the boring "I've seen this thread many times before" type thought.SonicKoala said:The search bar - it seems that nobody has heard of that game, particularly the OP.
Holy crap I LOVE that game. One of the greatest RPGs ever in my mind. That and there was so damn much you could do in it.darthmalak95 said:Dark Cloud 2. I know some people on this site know of it, but almost none of my friends have ever heard of it. I'm very grateful to the friend that plays it for introducing me to it, because I love that game.
Is Glover the game where you play as a glove and throw balls around?KiddEgo said:I've yet to meet a person who's played or heard of Glover outside of the kid who introduced me to it back in elementary school. Haven't played that game in years though.
Edit: Almost forgot to add that I don't know if anyone but me would consider Glover awesome. So yeah.
I came in here to post this.It was called "Illusion of Time" in Europe thoughdollface said:Illusion of Gaia: An amazing game similar to Zelda in many respects, but was such an amazing game with great setting, story, characters and sound track was exceptionally amazing for the SNES era.
