Chaos League was pretty awesome.

But then Blood Bowl came along and blew it out of the water.

Illusion of Gaia: An amazing game similar to Zelda in many respects, but was such an amazing game with great setting, story, characters and sound track was exceptionally amazing for the SNES era.
Gemfire: Also a great game for the SNES, a decent turn based fantasy strategy game that I still remember fondly to this day, my only regret is not buying it when it was being sold at the local video store.
I actually own Illusion of Gaia, and DAMN IS THE FIRST BOSS HARD! Also Uni Racers for the SNES

Streets of SimCity

Not only were they fun, they had some of the best music of all time! The jazz was unmatched and the rock was mean!
Yes! They were awesome. SimTower was another really good one that's not very well known.

ININJA: Oddly it is a gamecube game and not associated with Apple in any way.

Ikaruga: Arcade game, rare gamecube port, now on Xbox Live arcade, all kinds of awesome.

Iggys Wreckin balls: Very strange game for the N64, im not even going to try and describe it.

I had a bunch of realy good obscure N64 games but now i cant remember their names.

I've yet to meet a person who's played or heard of Glover outside of the kid who introduced me to it back in elementary school. Haven't played that game in years though.

Edit: Almost forgot to add that I don't know if anyone but me would consider Glover awesome. So yeah.
Is Glover the game where you play as a glove and throw balls around?
I, good sir, have owned(dunno if I still have it) and played Glover as a kid.

Also, Contact for the DS. Go buy it. NOW!

Master of Magic.
I've never met a turn based strategy game that surpasses it.

Riddick attack on dark Athena I think it is called just type in xbox 360 riddick game it will pop up that game was very very fun I really really suggest renting it for it was a long 2 campaign game were you had to very complicated like break out of prisons and it ended up with the main character Riddick stuck in one of those crazy rooms only way sci-fi like and you even figure out how to break out of that it's a really cool game.

The Neverhood -- claymation adventure game that had an awesome soundtrack.
Hell yeah.

OT:God of Thunder. An old DoS top down puzzle-action game which I was raised on.

Oddworld: The Abe ones. They might be to well known to put on this list but.. ah never mind. The first two are on my best games ever created list.

Lost Odyssey. Definitely on my top ten games list. I loved the gameplay and it made me emotional on so many occasions! One point in particular...
Lirum's Death. Oh and the dreams, by god they were amazing!

KKnD (1997)

"The war of 2079 had no winners, those who survived either scuttled to safety underground, or were left outside, to face radiation and mutagenic viruses"

Massive nostalgia because it was the first RTS I ever played =D

I found this fun indie-looking game called starcraft... The graphics suck but the balance and feel of he game is fantastic.
