It just looks ugly as fuck. I heard the US version required blue blood, because apparently this was too violent (???). Pretty good game though, all in all.
The box art for Halo 4 is pretty bad, I wish they had left the chief out of the picture.
I agree with whomever mentioned Arkham Asyleum and Arkham City GotY. Both are just aweful.

Because of the cover I didn't try the game until a couple of years ago. I know it says Roleplaying Strategy Game on the top, but the cover looks like a top-down shooter, and a bad one at that.
Such a good game, and they had to give it that cover. What a waste.

I hate how they're just...floating there. And what's up with the third Samus fading in from the upper left corner?
Fuse's box also deserves a mention, although I can't be sure if it will be great or not.
I know it's not very bad compared to some of these but the Portal 2 box cover was still pretty lame.
They should have stuck with the minimalistic look of the first one.

Dont you mean "Japanese" art, the cool artsy cover is the original japanese one, (not sure if they used the same one on Europe) at least back then i used to buy a lot of videogame magazines and EVERYONE was raving about the unending awesomeness of ICO so i bought it day one crappy box art and allBeffudled Sheep said:When I was a wee child of like 10 or 8 I remember passing by that game when looking for used games on the cheap. I'll admit though, the American box cover is sort of nostalgic to me as I remember seeing it a lot at my local Hollywood Video store when I was little.
It is also the european box art. And I was young back then and didn't even know they had video game magazines. That's Dark Samus silly. The two Samus's back to back represent the pure/corrupt sides of Samus throughout the game since she becomes corrupted with Phazon. Whereas Dark Samus is merely the antagonist and sorta represent what she'll become if the Phazon corruption overtakes her.BearMinerals said:

Imagine if the default Shepard had been female for years, and they finally did a contest for a "new look" Manshep, and settled on Taylor Lautner. Shepard is meant to be in his/her early 30's in ME3. Babyshep doesn't even have laugh lines.

I'm not looking for Shepard as portrayed by Dame Judi Dench. I just want someone who actually looks their age. Or even looks like a soldier. As opposed to someone who wandered in from a photo shoot for 17 magazine. I'd feel the same way if it was a guy.
