I really am in love with "The Warriors" it is all-time favorite PS2 game.
Come out to playyyyyy-eeeeeayyyy?
Yes, something like that
Just checking.
agreed with this one as well this game was an epic sleeper yet it seemed to fly under the radar. - it added to the movie for me and actually made the movie infinitely better after spending more time with the characters in the game, i could relate to the movie characters much better. - also this was crazy to see that the actual movie part/level/setting was not even a 3rd of this game, best pick up and run with a film license evar!

the latest alone in the dark.
i don't understand why everyone hates this game, it has a good story, good gameplay and graphics aren't too bad either.

Dirge of Cerberus.

EVERYONE but me hates this game. I found it to be quite the enjoyable game of gunplay.

advent rising, sure it had some bugs, BUT I FUCKING LOVED IT
Agreed. The story, albeit a little cliche, was executed and told very well, and the soundtrack was amazing. I still wish they had released a brief "what happens after" script or story when they realized they wouldn't be making the rest of the trilogy.
yeah, they totally should have, slackers

I honestly want to try this game...somehow being as bad as it is, its still ranked as a PS2 'Greatest Hit', still a bit skeptical cause of the review though

The Darkness is one of my favorite underrated games. I'm currently playing through GUN, which got so-so reviews, but has turned out to be a really, really good game.

Eat lead the return of Matt Hazard. It was challenging, the humor was pretty good, and it let me beat up Neil Patrick Harris.

Whatever, just wash your hands.
assasins creed, the darkness, heroes of might and magic V with all the expansions (it got ok reviews but ppl who played the other hom series hate on it but I loved it), quake 4 (I fully expected it to be crummy but after playing a demo I really got into the gameplay)

Mega man legends for the N64. I loved that game but everyone says it was only good if you played it on the Play Station. Also a lot of people don't like Mega Man Battle Network, the plot sucks, and dialog but the gameplay is downright fun.

Street fighter 4. Seth is insane and most the time I could win a fight by knocking the opponet down and then just use the charge attack.

50 Cent Bulletproof HEAR ME OUT! HEAR ME OUT!

Throw on the cheat codes, and it's not that bad. Sorta enjoyable running around with every weapon and unlimited ammo, killing everyone in sight as the try hopelessly to kill you, while Eminem (or whoever the support character is for that level) is in the background yelling "FUCK" at the top of his lungs. Mind you, it didn't age well, but I still liked the game.

Surprised this is back up cause i was just about to post up on here, but i finally did get Dirge of Cerberus, and i am enjoying it, its incredibly fun, the controls and aiming do get some getting used to, and i can see how people didnt like it cause they could do all of Vincent's crazy moves, but u cant do half the stuff Dante does in DMC either...so ya, really good game but somehow got a bad review

I have a space in my heart for Sonic Adventure 2. I don't know why, but I really quite like that game, even if the controls are dodgy and Knuckles is the only well-characterised character and the Chao Doctor in my version says nothing but "Your Chao is very healthy. Please take care of your Chao" (which leads to some rather interesting comments when that one is prefaced by this: "Heheheh... This is not good") and so on. Maybe it's just the hopeful City Escape music, or the fact that I first played it when I was eight.

Secret Weapons Over Normandy on the PS2

Ridiculously underrated in my opinion. Authentic German and Japanese speaking pilots, awesome game mechanics, and pretty good voice acting.

But everyone who has ever reviewed it has been like "meh, its ok"

Halo as a series... but then I started playing that before it started getting loathed.

Don't worry Escapist's I won't use it as an example again I'm aware I talk about it too much, I'll use something else.
Namely I'll mention Aliens Versus Predator: Extinction and King Kong.
