I wonder into random houses and smash all there pots looking for gems. It always surprises me when they get mad.

The only bad habit gaming has given me is gaming.

If I find a dead person, before I call the cops I'll see if he dropped any good loot...

I have a habit of looking for the best place to drop an AoE in a group of people.

I also have a general 'I can just start a new game if it goes wrong' attitude to life.

I used to go into people's houses and take whatever wasn't nailed down.

Now, though... I try to as quiet as I can, because I'm always listening for the sound of people running.

ridiculously short attention spam, but a zealous determination if something I'm interested in bests me.

I have the small but persistent urge to take my vehicle (or motorcycle) on any ramps I find.

I get FAR, FAR away from any car that is on fire. GTA and Fallout 3 taught me well.

When I walk around late at night on the streets I look behind me every 30 odd seconds.
Dude... that's a brilliant habit. 20 would be even better.

The only habit I tend to get is being WAY too observant. Too much sentry-checking...

I tend to check behind corners from time to time before walking around them, makes for a kick ass hide and seek game.

i also have the bad habit of thinking of how i can use random items as weapons via dead raising...

I like to run up stairs like Snake does in MGS, although it's hard on very steep ones.

I'm overly cautious as well, especially at night. Not exactly sure what games have given me this habit, but being cautious in games is good... I guess.

When I hear a gunshot in the distance I instantly hide behind the nearest cover. No way am I getting killed by a sniper.
You're talking about in a game right? You don't regularly hear gunshots in real life...

I'm incredibly compulsive about reloading. I can't even watch someone run about having forgotten to reload, I have to tell them
I am the exact same way. I reload after every kill, and when I'm watching someone running low on ammo in a clip, I always tell them, "You might wanna reload".

I find myself taking habits from previous games and trying to use them in other games. Like left 4 dead, for example, has left me using the trigger on my controller a lot. Unfortunately in all my other games, trigger is for the camera.

And I don't know if it's so much a BAD habit, but I do find myself resting my hands together subconsciously like I'm holding a xbox or ps controller... I don't notice I do it, but it's comfortable so I haven't tried to stop. :)
Haha that sounded weird, my bad.

OCD.... I randomly count my steps or do something just for the fun of it 5 times even if someone tells me to stop its hard to until I reach 5.
