With Black Ops only a couple weeks away, Modern Warfare 2 will likely be neglected in favor of its successor. With glitches and balancing issues galore, Modern Warfare has made 13 year olds squeak in happiness and dedicated CoD players cringe. Things like commando and Model 1887s allowed inexperienced and lucky players to dominate a game and Tactical Insertions allowed boosting to evolve to a whole new level. With Black Ops fixing many of the issues of its predecessor and bounding to prove to be a better game overall, it seems as though the CoD series is due for enlightenment that will further enrich and improve future Cod games.
But, what would happen if a third Modern Warfare comes out? Rumors abound that Infinity Ward will not be working on the Call of Duty series anymore, possibly giving Sledgehammer Games the reins. A Modern Warfare 3 cannot let down everyone's expectations. With the noobtubefest that MW2 turned out to be, Modern Warfare 3 must go beyond simple Tactical Insertions and Care Packages to satisfy its younger fanbase.
To please the fans of Modern Warfare 2 that truly enjoyed the game for what it was and found no faults with it, MW3 must kick it up a notch. Skill must be taken completely out of the gaming equation, replacing it all with overpowered weapons, attachments, and perks. No longer will pesky details such as aiming and strategy get in the way of your knifing sprees and grenade spam.
Your job here tonight my fellow gamers is to come up with ideas that Sledgehammer Games could implement in Modern Warfare 3, to improve the glitches and overpowered weapons and perks of Modern Warfare 2.
