The 24-hour mode from Dead Rising,
You survived three days! well done!
Now the mall is covered is special forces units who are bullet-immune so all of those guns you collected are now worthless,You need to go find 84 arbitrariy things that you're told to get and each also happen to be found in one location in the entire universe, They you need to harvest 20 queen wasps!
also you only have third of the time to do it in.
Those guys do carry machine guns you know that right? Thats make the whole game a little to easy in my opinion..Also arn't harder games need in this industry since so many are easy enough to play with one hand?

Any and all forced stealth sections in non stealth games. Almost inevitably hampered by the fact that they're instant game over on being spotted, rather than having a fight or hide choice, and that the engine simply isn't built for stealth, so things like enemy field of view is fuzzy at best, and any supposed stealth disable moves are all but useless.

The fish in Ninja Gaiden 2. Seriously, what where they on when they thought them up.
Hate and bile. Same as when they thought up all the enemies. The big red fish only show up twice though, and they're only annoying second time, because in the first you can hide in the little pool behind the ledge with the Jewel of the Demon Seal and dead ninja, and they don't seem to be able to get at you.

Now, the two headed tripod bladed spike monstrosities, they're a real set of bastards.

Halo 2 when you fight Tartarus. First of all: Halo has never ever had boss fights, and then they throw one in there. Second: you end the game playing as the Arbiter. Master Chief should be the one with the last word (I guess he is in the last cutscene, but you know what I mean).

Definatley In Oblivion. It just sucks being a low lvl.
Everything levels with you in Oblivion... so how can it suck? I beat the entire main quest as a level 5 character. It makes the Bruma battle a lot easier.
Yeah, but try getting weapons and armor that don't lead to you getting pwned when your doing the main quest or and quest in the game at low lvl!!! I mean come on!!! yOU KNOW HOW HARD IT IS NOT TO DIE WITHOUT Having some form of invisibility(Which really helped me get away and lick my wounds like a kid who had just been beatin by his father).

And by the way, I love Oblivion, its expansions, and Bethesda!!! It just was difficult becoming the hulking Kajite Assasin/Warlord/Mage uber solder that I am today, but well worth it.

Helping Delin Hong move boxes at the docks, I can still hear his high pitched yelps in the back of my head. (I only have the non dubbed Dreamcast version)

I have a solution to your problem... quit playing games from Japan!!! Unless there Re4,Re5, the MGS series, and DBZ!!!

Completing the main quest at low levels involves taking skills you never use as your primaries and levelling exclusively secondary skills to insane levels, making you an unstoppable god-warrior fighting puny enemies.

I can see how the main quest would be hugely anticlimactic at low levels though, given that it means that the huge ZOMG oblivion invasion basically consists of an Imp.

The stage in Half-Life 2 before you get inside the citadel, Anticitizen 1. "Excuse me. Pardon me. Sorry Freeman." If they didn't make good decoys, I'd kill them all myself.

Gaining that dumb sonic ability in Condemned 2. I'm thinking, "This is not Condemned."

The last few levels of Condemned 2, I was really enjoying it, then it just went to pot.

Gta: Vice City - The race with 'the Driver', possibly the most frustrating thing in a game ever.

The 'stealth' parts in The Getaway. Would have been alright if the 'detection programming' wasn't horribly broken.
i remember doing a stealth mission for the triads in the getaway.10 tries to get through it.

anyway, although i loved this mission, the mission where you gotta take out an entire house full of enemies while high in vice city stories.

Any game - unskippable training levels.
But, only if the training level has no effect on the rest of the game. I mean, the beginning of Oblivion at least helped you set up your character.

I found it to slow the game down, to prevent you from creating different characters in different classes, just so you won't have to go through that extremely long tutorial again.

Metroid prime 3 corruption is THE greatest game in history every moment is greatness except for one single noticeable glaring flaw.

Hypermode. I understand that it was part of the story and added an interesting element to it but still, It made things a bit too easy at some points.

Yep. Hate those things. Actually, as stated before, I generally hate vehicle sections in shooter.

Indigo Prophecy (Farenheit in Europe) Immediately comes to mind. The game is absolutely amazing up until one point where the story just goes bat shit crazy. if you've played the game, you know exactly what point i'm talking about....

Tell me about it, the game started out incredible, had this gripping story that just pulls you in, then they start with the supernatural stuff, very subtle about it though, and then it gets less subtle with it, and less, and then it's just smacking you in the face, then it's just BSI.

Anyway, on the subject, Indigo Prophecy. Game gives you all these great paths to choose, and this seemingly near unlimited amount of choice while going through the story, and then it all boils down to three endings, all of which kind of sucked. All the choices throughout the game meant nothing because you basically just choose which ending you want to see at the end of it all.

The only other big one that I can think of would be Beautiful Katamari. Good game, but for whatever reason the makers decided to leave a good chunk of it on Live for you to download, wouldn't be so bad, if not for the fact that many people don't have access to Live, and so all those levels and cousins and whatnot, can't get them.
