Borderlands man that ending was terrible, It made no sense and tried to be funny, which failed I laughed more on condemned.
And I'm just saying...bawls, yes, I'm done arguing over this. Let's skip off into the sunset now, ok?s69-5 said:A remake is just that. A remake. It's still a 20 year old game. The ending that it contained was fairly typical for the time it was produced. Just sayin'xXAsherahXx said:It was also remade recently...recently. Done poking holes?s69-5 said:Nope. But maybe you should think of rewording the original post. I mean, you did say lately. A 20 year old game is not recent. And if you looked through your library and found nothing, then, why would you say lately anyhow? I don't feel retarded; just confused.xXAsherahXx said:Look at the first post on this page, go ahead, I'll wait a few seconds, I know right? Don't you feel retarded.s69-5 said:You do realize it's a 20 year old game. Not very recent at all!xXAsherahXx said:Games are losing their creativity lately, I can name a lot that end great (FF X, Gears 2), but also some that do not. My least favourite would have to be the ending to Final Fantasy I.
OP: White Knight Chronicles. I don't like cliffhangers.
I think people missed the Easter Egg here.Sassy McFuzzers said:Halo 3, ok you stoped the alien invasion of earth, killed the gravemind, and stoped the flood BUT WAIT the main character is still floating around space somwhere... thanks Bungie.

Anyway, Red Dead Redemption:
Great ending, but the part I didn't like is now I'm freaking Jack Marston instead of John.
Anyways, the worst game ending for me was Halo 3: ODST. It ended so suddenly, I literally thought I was half way through the game. You never find out what happens to them!
yeah I know it's like you just ********* and ****** tells you things and then she ******* and the super flying cameraman just zooms out of ********* but I bet the answer will be in Star Wars the old republicOmikron009 said:The dark side ending in Kotor 2. It made no goddamn sense.
At the very end after the credits if memory serves me right he is seen in a sort feedle position in an ocean and then he swims to the top and looks around to an islands and waves I think. Not to sure about the wave but I definitely remember the rest of it.Jaranja said:I see your point but I think you can fill in the blanks very easily. If you think it was good fair enough but I thought it was atrocious which is my opinion on it. I am allowed to have an opinion on it. Doesn't make mine or yours wrong. I can see a sliver of merit in it but that is it. I did not think overall the ending justified the game and was very disappointed in it and thought the scene with Tidus in the ocean was very pointless and left it open because it looked like Bikanel or Besaid.Jaranja said:We're all about the ending here. Also I know it sasy this an endings thread but saying the game name will suffice and if you want to go into details you really should use spoiler tags.
I think FFX-2 is colouring your view of FFX.
I appreciate that you liked it and your take on it but I am of the complete opposite opinion.
I'm not seeing how that's open.
Also, about your point earlier. Why do machina matter?
Also to go back to the ocean thingy it basically looks like Tidus has been reborn and is left outside Besaid.
I must've played the game through about 3 or 4 times and never remember that part. I might've blocked it out because it's not supposed to be there. After all, there is one ending in FFX-2 where he never did reappear.Glademaster said:At the very end after the credits if memory serves me right he is seen in a sort feedle position in an ocean and then he swims to the top and looks around to an islands and waves I think. Thats true but I still remember it being there and I only bring it up because in one ending Yuna finds Tidus by the ocean in FFX-2 other than that I would not bother to bring it up.Jaranja said:snip
Wha? GTA III, VC, SA all had a great ending with a great message: Crime Does Pay, have fun!Casual Shinji said:Most free-roam games have shitty endings, like all of the GTA games.
Most recently, God of War 3. And the strange thing is that it would've been amazing of only they gave us a proper fight with Zeus and tweaked some of the dialoge at the end. But NOOOOOOO!
