I was worried for a while when I heard Paramore were splitting up, but then they fortunately reconciled and have just released a new album which I intend to get ASAP. However, I'm still pretty pissed that Evanescence split up. I have both their studio albums and sincerely wish they'd done more.

System of a Down for me. Technically they're just on hiatus, so they haven't broken up yet. Unfortunately, I threw that argument out the door when I heard Serj say "indefinite hiatus". I hate Scars on Broadway too, so I only have Serj's solo albums to look forward to.

I doubt anyone will know mine, but Nickel Creek. Just absolutely fantastic band, I want them back.
I was sad about that too :( When In Rome is one of my favorite songs.
When in Rome is a song I obsessed over for so long. I don't think I've ever loved a band's entire discography, then with theirs, PLEASE come back

You realise they are back together, right?

I half agree, it's been so long since I listened to them, I wonder if I could get back into them.

System of a Down...not broken up but might not get back together. Soundgarden, I wish they were still together. Black Sabbath, this one's a bit odd because Ozzy and Heaven and Hell replaced them...sort of. I'm sure there are more but I'm too lazy to go through my music library to find them.

Panic! At The Disco apparently broke up which sucks because I actually enjoyed a few of their songs.

Skid Row. They didn't break up per-se, but their lead singer left. He's done some pretty awesome stuff in his latest solo album, mind you, but Skid Row's been shit since their singer got replaced. Get Bach back, and everything will be merry again.

Also they need to publicize more. Hardly anyone knows who they are - most likely because they were unfairly killed during the grunge era.

When Treble Charger broke up I got a little angry. They were one of my favourites growing up.

And what happened to Jet? They released a pretty kickass album and then promptly disappeared.

Led Zepplin but the reason they stopped is the best example of how tight they were. When most bands brake up because of money, fights, or girls Led stopped playing because their drumer died and they refused to get a new 1.

The Stone Roses were pretty cool.

Also, I wish Queens of the Stone Age still had their original lineup. They are still going but god are they lacking those awesome guitar riffs.

They didn't. The guitarist and bassist left but the other two are carrying on, writing and recording the new album themselves and touring with people filling in the vacant spaces.

But yeah, as someone said up there: The Libertines. They had the potential, so much potential, they could've taken over the world if it hadn't been for the self-destructive streak.

Thanks for the welcome, that's the third one in three posts. Love this place already.

On topic: I just remembered my biggest band that I miss, and I have no idea how I didn't think of it sooner: ORGY. I still break out Vapor Transmission just to hear Fiction (Dreams in Digital) every so often. Such an amazing song, and album for that matter. Sure, they constantly state that they're getting back together and touring soon, along with "big surprises" for Orgy fans every year, but I've more or less lost hope at this point. Anyone who remembers Orgy gets major points in my book.
