Flobots. Oh wait...I actually want them to fade away. Make room for other bands which can actually create good music.
Rise is a good song.

OT:Kyuss seem to be more and more unknown with the time. And I don´t like that.

The Clash. Some people just can´t appreciate real punk anymore.

Red Hot Chili Peppers kinda are fading.
well john frusciante left again. And they've been doing this for what, almost 30 years? They may stop making music, but the music they've made will still be listened to for years to come. 2040, i'll still be listening to Red Hot Chili Peppers.
still a shame, though
A shame it is... But all good things must come to an end.
well, that's a shame too.

Amen to both those points.

OT: I really hope that people don't forget about the Grateful Dead and the massive impact that they've had on Rock and Roll for the past 45 years.

Bands that I hope are forgotten? U2 probably. Cannot stand any part of their music. And it's not to say I don't like that genre, I do, just not them.

Hmm. Didn't see the 'unpopular' clause. I guess Beck, then. I love his music, but I've only heard of one other person talking about him before.

Lodger, they released new album last year but it didn't a catch lot of media attention which is a shame.

Elysian Fields, about the same thing.

If you like either of these bands, buy their freaking album!

Placebo and Noah And The Whale. Placebo's been going a long time, they might be running dry on material, and Noah And The Whale have been pretty much dead for several months. Mumford and Sons (Or, my little pet name for them, Twatford and Twats) stole most of their audience, as well as Charlie Fink's ex-girlfriend.

Marilyn Manson
They've lost their passion since Holy Wood IMO. I liked TGAoG and all, but it can't compare to AC, HW or MA

DevilDriver. Their last album wasn't quite up to snuff compared to Fury and Last Kind Words.
Fury was the high point in their career for me, but the new album isn't all bad, some of the stuff is great.

You know that System split a while ago right?

OT: I don't really have any. I'm hoping Faith No More do another tour before they split again, but only because I want to see them.

Cage The Elephant.

Great little band in my opinion.
true that, although they are not fading out, they're fading in.

OT: Brocas Helm, they're awesome, it sucks finding bass tabs for their songs :(

first of all.. grammar is your friend.

Second... System's final two albums were complete and utter crap. They'd be better off just calling it quits and hoping they go down in history remembered by everything they did prior to Mezmerize/Hypnotize. I'm a huge system fan, but those two albums are almost unforgivable.

Tool... What can I say? Tool will be remembered. They'll probably make at least 1 more album, but whether it's good or not, Tool will be remembered.

They didn't necessarily break up, they're on hiatus. I doubt they return from said hiatus, but it's not official yet at any rate.

(And it was Awesome)

I hope they promote the next album... at this stage its too late to promote Chinese Democracy...
