or some other lame, rodent pokemon.
we would also get that weird acorn dude cause his evolved form kind of looks like Brutus's distant cousin with a few felonies.

Skarmory, Stantler, Pachurisu, as well as geodude, and Staraptor. Depending which direction I go i may be able to find wild mudkips and ariodos. Maybe a ursarang if i look very hard. BUUUT if i head into the city i'd find pigey and pigeotto, rattata. I would struggle to find my pachurisu though....i like cute electric types

I live in Vancouver, so there's a pretty wide variety of habitats around here, but mostly water, forests, mountains, and cities, (not to mention we have a few fossil deposits in B.C, so fossil pokemon aren't out of the question.)
There would probably be water, grass, bug, flying, rock, poison, electric, normal, steel (maybe,) ice types in the winter, and maybe the odd fire or ground type if you go a little further inland in the summer.

From this, I can conclude that my mons would probably be Magneton, Roselia, Seadra, Glaceon, Quilava, and Anorith.

Also, out of curiosity, what would be the natural environment for psychic, fighting, dark, and dragon types?
For Vancouver, you'd pretty much have 80% water types, 10% bug types, 5% normal types, 2% rock, 2% ground, 1% rioting type (lol, I kid)

Elemental types are easy to choose because geography = elemental type. The non-elemental types are a bit tricky.
Psychic: I wanna say France or somewhere in eastern Europe where there are lots of fortune tellers.
Fighting: Could technically be anywhere, I'd say there would be a lot in Japan because of the many martial arts. China would have many fighting types as well.
Dark: Africa! Lol, jk jk. Hmm... I really can't say =/
Dragon: Europe or China. There are no mythological dragons in North America, so they'd all be in Europe or China/Japan.
just want to point this out there are 3 north american dragons. that is all.

I live in Florida as well, so I'd say the OP's list is pretty good but, because I live in Orlando specifically, I'll throw in Meowth as a kind of Pokemon you would find in a city environment.

In the area I live in one would mostly see the usual Pokemon common to city and suburban areas with a good number of the more forest-dwelling Pokemon as well.

I'm not going to divulge where I live, so I'll just do Detroit. Trubbish and Grimer. Nothing but Trubbish and Grimer as far as the eye can see. With the exception of one Magnemite, who used to be a Rattata until he was gunned down by gangsters. He dispenses his own brand of justice, as the sole member of a privately owned mechanized police force.

There are?
Links or it didn't happen.

Edit: nevermind, I searched myself and found that there are about 8 or so North American dragons thanks to native legends and whatnot.

Western Washington state. So...

There are plenty of forests and mountains, it rains like no tomorrow here, there's a semi-active volcano to the west and an ocean even farther out. However, you only see snow on the higher elevations.

Common- Most common bird Pokemon, Murkcrows, most spider Pokemon, Magikarps...

Uncommon- Treeckos, Ralts, Venonat, Wingulls, Miltanks, Nosepass, Geodudes, Aron...

Rare- Turtwigs, Onix, Ponyta...

Well, that's some of them, anyway. Looking at what's around me, there are literally at least a hundred possible candidates alone. Though there are very Fire or dragon types that are likely to live around here...

Well I'm deep in the heart of Cannock Chase surrounded by trees, trees and even more trees. Though there is a fishing pool just up the road. So if I were to go out and make up a team of six I'd have:

1. Noctowl
2. Roserade
3. Poliwhirl
4. Nidoking (assuming Nidoran are based on rabbits?)
5. Ninetails
6. Electabuzz

Woo, living in the country and ten minutes from a power plant both came in handy... at the same time! Yaaaaay!

Basically anything that can withstand up to 120 degrees Fahrenheit could be found in my area. There are mountains to the north, plains to the south, a few man made lake here and there, some botanical parks, and finally a huge downtown area past the mountains. So fire, fighting, few water, maybe a few dragon, ground, rock, grass, psychic, dark, bug, and normal could be found around where I live. IE with about 30 miles or so.

I live in the south west England... We have badgers, foxes, moles, rabbits and mice a-plenty.. as well as cows, sheep and pigs... and all other farmyard animals!

So...

Personally i'd have a Drillbur, and a Chandelure for inside! Either that or Litwick, cos he's so damn cool!
