Hmmm... since my 360 is currently bricked I thought I'd play the demo on my PS3, but I just can't find the damn demo! Is my own personal retardation so powerful that it could have altered my visual output of the PSN? Or are there some settings I don't know about that need tweaking in order for my console to even display the demo download...? HELP!!!
It should show up on the PSN store where the rest of the stuff shows up. If not, try going into the A-Z game list. If it's not there, it's possible it's not up in your country yet. Where do you live?
I live in Germany... but I've already scanned dozens of sites, ALL of which report that the demo was released on August 7th, and I've read comments from lots of German gamers detailing their experiences with the demo. That's what's weird, I think it's actually up, but for some reason it doesn't show up for me on the PSN... is there any way in which I need to update my PSN client??

I'm amazed. I didn't expect it to actually play out as stealth, and that caught me by surprise when 2 gunmen had me down mid fight. I was pretty happy about that.

Also, guardsmen walking under gargoyle takedown=amazing fun. Was really intrigued when the prompt appeared. I was not disappointed.

And as for getting stale, thats up in the air. No idea what areas are going to be looking like past the first bit obviously, theres plenty of room for insanity.

So good to have a demo to play with. And the fact that I don't have to get out my house and play it at Game Stop makes it better :)

Coolest moment for me was when Joker set the goons on me, I just stood there and waited for them to attack first and countered them one by one. Needless to say, I was stoked and began thinking, "I'm the Goddamn Batman."*

*Okay, I understand that most people don't like Frank Miller's All-Star Batman and Robin. But, you can't disagree that it's a bad-ass line.

According to some articles I read, they're going to try to find excuses to keep the environments as varied as possible, what with out door sections and areas where the building is much older/in disrepair, to name a few.

My thoughts, it was well done but with a need for that much quick thinking and precession, its annoying to have EVERY MOVE on the shoulder buttons. I often found myself fumbling with the controls attempting to figure out which one was take-down or ect. It quickly because frustrating.

Also, while the stealth was very well pulled off and the guards level of intelligence really worked, I'm worried this game will be NOTHING but this same formula. Walk down a hall, stealth room, walk down a hall, stealth room...it would get old and if this is the first stealth room, FRUSTRATING, very quickly.

In the end, it could be awesome...or it could be repetitive and annoying. I just can't tell yet. I gotta say, thumbs up on getting the Batman: Animated Series voice cast, it really made the whole experience that much better. Nobody does Joker better than the guy who did the animated series.

I dare say that this very well may be the best Batman game ever. The demo was great. I loved it; The controls were simple and really easy to get used to; the voice acting is great; graphics look good; combat is good; stealth is good.
Over-all, I'll say it's one of the best demos I've ever played.

I'm impressed with the graphics and the free-flow combat.
And hanging behind someone upside-down is just too damn funny. :p

I'm actually kind of excited about this game.
That and when you take Thug A out with a loud yell while doing that, it cause the rest of the thugs in the room to be terrified if they can't see you.
I love that part. It leads to great immersion and jumping across a room and landing on someone is quite hilarious.

I tried the PS3 demo that we've been playing at work for several weeks now. The graphics are granier than I would expect from a next-gen game, but the gameplay was fun. Nothing special though. Was hoping the demo is just work in progress still. Asuming so.
The game comes out in less than a month, they don't have time to change much. Unless this demo was ready months ago and only released just now.

You know you can cut him down later?

Did anyone notice those symbols in the room where the inmate has the guard hostage and is shocking him? There's a wall on the opposite side of the vent you crawl through.
There's an eye, a thunderbolt, and a few other symbols. I'm not sure if they mean what bad guys there might be in the game later on. I don't really know much about Batman or comic books.

I love doing an inverted takedown on someone, then using a Batarang to slice the rope as the others get close.
And now I have something new to try. Does it stun them if he lands on them?
Haven't got one to land on them yet. Let me know if you manage it though.
IT WORKS! If you make him land on someone, they both get knocked out!

I have a feeling this will become a 'Hey, we're intoxicated, let's play this' game. At least some of the time. I can just see myself going nuts whilst drinking. :p

Love the demo, shows a lot of potential. Hopefully the game itself will be good. But I've always wanted to play a game where you're either Batman, or simply a sneaky assassin flying and killing enemies from all possible angles. And now you're both. It seems to show well that Batman is more stealth than he is action, which is what Batman should be like. The unseen predator.
