Batman Arkham Asylum Xbox 360 Demo, your thoughts here.

I love doing an inverted takedown on someone, then using a Batarang to slice the rope as the others get close.

And now I have something new to try. Does it stun them if he lands on them?

Haven't got one to land on them yet. Let me know if you manage it though.

Voice work is great though. Mark Hamill, Kevin Conroy, and Arleen Sorkin are in there so it automatically gets an A+ rating from me for that. The other actors do a serviceable job too, with the exception of Commissioner Gordon. What the heck is up with him? That voice does not work at all.

Indeed. Having several of the B:TAS actors was what excited me about this project in the first place. Luckily, after playing the demo, my excitement was bolstered.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one looking at Gordon with a cocked head. He's suddenly a world-class weightlifter and sounds like the inside of Michael Bay's head. Very jarring for me. Could no one get Gary Oldman?

I played it on the PS3 a bit at walmart. It was pretty good. If the game doesnt end up being cell shaded, an having the joker voiced by a 12 year old boy with the giggles then it should work. I liked the demo, with the whole counter system for combat

Yes.. Same, probably fail all bits that require stealth and get shredded to pieces by bullets many times.. I can see it now for me.

OT: I loved the demo, I got it on PS3, and will be pre-ordering it at gamestop to get scarecrow, as well as joker (PS3 exclusive yay!)

That and when you take Thug A out with a loud yell while doing that, it cause the rest of the thugs in the room to be terrified if they can't see you.
I love that part. It leads to great immersion and jumping across a room and landing on someone is quite hilarious.

And it is AWESOME. This will work, I can feel it.

As for challenge mode: It's a set of challenges (Obviously) and I don't think it's in the demo.

There was a PS3 thread back when that demo first came out. 360 one emerged later, hence the new thread.

I can only assume that the demo might try something similar to what Mirror's Edge did, and allow those who pre-order to try Challenge Mode early? You never know, it's possible.

i think it's pretty awesome my favorite game in a while but on my 2nd time round i didnt get hit ONCE i hope theres a harder mode although it was the first bit
