Adam West Batman! WE DEMAND IT!
Damn, too many games coming out that look good. Deus Ex, Arkham City, Battlefield 3...
I only have time and money for Skyrim...
I'm not so sure. The Adam West costume runs into the same problem that the Batman Beyond costume does: that character was agile and lean. Batman, as depicted in the comics and in Arkham Asylum, is most definitely buff, especially with the somewhat brute-force fighting style he uses in the game.
Plus, I never really liked the Adam West version. It reeked of the "safe, family friendly" attitudes which made more serious discussions about personal tragedy incredibly difficult to adequately discuss.
That, and there was no Two-Face (for the same "family friendly" reasons). While the Joker is Batman's number one foe, his complex relation with Harvey Dent/Two-Face is much more interesting, especially considering that he's essentially a parallel of Batman who chose taking his pain out through criminal acts rather than Batman's vigilantism. It's one of the reasons Batman is much more sympathetic to Dent and, in most origin stories, he also is semi-responsible for Harvey's condition, which haunts Bruce and is embraced by Two-Face's duel personality. To put it simply (if you'll forgive the pun): They're two sides of the same coin. One fights for the justice of law, the other fights for the justice of chaos.
