It's been out for a few days, but just to give every interested type a hand, here it is:
Essentially it's a merging of the three other videos they've released so far with a shootout sequence at the end. It's explicitly labelled as alpha footage, and there are a few graphical things I'd like tweaked - the movement of guns whilst sprinting, the explosion effects - but otherwise it's looking pretty solid.
There's some nice scenarios on display, it's not all straightforward running and gunning, and it looks beautiful. Once the shooting does start it seems pretty much just like any other shooter on the market, but then I guess realistic-style games have kinda nailed this style of play so there's not a lot to do to mix up the mechanics without being gimmicky or something.
IMO, it's looking pretty sweet, much more interested in it than I have been for any of the other shooter releases over the last couple of years (and not just because I loved Battlefield, heh ¬_¬) - I can only hope that they stick with the Bad Company 2 or BF2 style multiplayer, rather than succumbing to the CoD system. Would like to see more saturated colours though...
What do you think? Interesting or too generic? Different enough to set it apart from the market leaders?
