It is working fine for me. Try going into the game marketplace normally and finding it. If it was preorder exclusive they would have given out codes for it and it wouldn't be promoted on the homepage.William Ossiss said:i saw it on the dashboard for xbox. decided to download it and give it a try. 'this purchase is -1microsoft points' so i continue.
then it tells me i dont have enough. i need... and im not lying here...

You're probably right with your last point or it was just bad luck. At least I'm hoping you're right. However, with the rest, minus the bug statement (because I fully understand the purpose of beta), you're completely wrong. I also ask you, have you been playing the beta? Also, if yes, for the xbox360?Insanity72 said:snip for length
Actually, health does regen. There's like a ten second delay, which is a crucial time-period because you tend to die fast. Having a med pack negates the delay.natster43 said:Things I like: No Regenerating Health. It is a nice change
That seems to be the legit way to get there. So let's see; you kill enemies, assist teammates, and do objectives. What else are you looking for there?Jasper Jeffs said:. I don't feel like I'm doing anything skilful, I'm always at the top of the scoreboard with a high K/D, but I do nothing to get there other than predict where the enemy is and position myself accordingly, handing out supplies when I can and disarming bombs or otherwise providing covering fire for other people disarming bombs.
I don't know, the whole experience feels really hollow. Everyone dies within a few rounds so killing isn't hard, the guns are easy to aim and shoot, and on consoles they practically aim for you with the assist on. Like I've said, it feels really lackluster. I suspect it is the choice of map because I've actually enjoyed previous Battlefield games, I still play BC2 even. The current map in the Beta feels like one of those CS:S deathmatch servers where you pick guns, spawn, kill a few, die, repeat. It isn't enjoyable with Battlefield's gameplay, and it feels like a significant step down when compared to previous Battlefield games. I've always enjoyed how in previous Battlefield's it's (usually) a struggle, the map in the Beta is a mindless spray and prey with no soul. I usually forget there is even an objective unless the bomb is actually planted.PeePantz said:That seems to be the legit way to get there. Ok, I see what you mean. I agree 100%. I also find the map to be too big, but meaningless. Wow, it's huge. However, tactically, it makes no sense. Just a way to get picked off by campers. I posted before something similar, where you kill a couple, die, repeat all in ten seconds. Or spawn, die quickly, repeat. It's annoying considering the only people who are unaffected are campers (which having prone now is going to be so prevalent). In BC2, I could easily stay alive for 10 min+. I don't see that happening in BF3.Jasper Jeffs said:I don't know, the whole experience feels really hollow. These are my thoughts on the Beta, it's made me reconsider buying BF3, but I have no idea how the end product will be. I'll be disappointed if all the maps are like this on release.

Contradiction? And the beta itself doesn't even work.
