I have no idea what the apparently problem is. I've been playing it since the release and bar an instance or two of unresponsive EA servers for log-in it has been smooth sailing.
This is most likely the case. AAA games get 7/10 and lower fairly often. One example of that was with Lost Odyssey. It was revealed that the retail version had greatly improved loading times compared to the Western review copies, but reviewers refused to change the score, even though their main issue was the loading times.james.sponge said:You know you can't really give an AAA title a score of less than 80% because:Sniper Team 4 said:I do not care about Battlefield. Not my cup of tea, but I had no idea things were this bad. Is the game just super buggy or something? The reviews I saw gave it pretty solid marks and didn't mention bugs. So what happened?
-fanboys will cry
-publishers will cry
-developers will cry
-game magazines/sites won't receive review codes for any new games from said publishers
-little kittens will die
-everyone will cry
also review copies of the game might have not been the same version we got in retail/digital distribution.
So, what's your preference?funksobeefy said:someone will die if they delay Star Wars Battlefront
I didn´t mention anything like that in my post at all.thebobmaster said:But it's a bit unfair to slam other people for not agreeing with you, especially when a significant portion of people do.
Oh no, my friend. Not someone. Someone will not die.funksobeefy said:someone will die if they delay Star Wars Battlefront
It's not just any game. This is EA's moneymaker of the quarter. When profit forecasts are short, stock prices drop like a rock. 50% is a bit much for a company that doesn't record as much profit as it projected it would, but I think that a lot of investors are dumb.Pandaman1911 said:Oh no, my friend. EVERYONE will die.
OT, a fuck-up in a single game drives shares down that much? That's actually kind of weird, honestly. I've got no particular investment in the Battlefield series, or really any series EA is putting out (or any series at all, but that's another story), so I might not understand, but you'd think that even if someone did see that BF4 was not having the greatest start, they wouldn't go into a blind panic and dump all their stock.
