I meant that capitalist America is already being indoctrinated all over the place by communists, though I could never see as good guys or be willing to play as communists. I couldn't even play CoD: World At War's Russian campaign (before I realized I shouldn't be playing CoD in the first place) because based on people killed by ideology, the Nazis were pikers compared to the Soviets...even if their politics were actually closer than they were different.
American building gets hit by a plane, ~3000 people die. America calls it a terrorist attack and starts a war over it.

2 years before that, they bombarded Yugoslavia, used cluster bombs (illegal by the Geneva convention), kill ~2000 civilians in casualties (probably more actually, hard to count). They call the operation "Merciful angel".

Fuck America and it's ideology :)

I think the point was more that Communism applied in government has been a human rights failure across the board. Starting with the Soviets, and continuing with China, Cuba, etc. Show me a system that works that isn't a paper theory and maybe you can say communism is good. But as far as we've seen, its killed more people and ruined more societies than capitalism ever has.
Except that cant be the point. Communism has never been applied in government and never will, because there is no "government" in communism to begin with. communism has never failed, because it was never even tried. SOvies, chinese, cubans were all authortitarian capitalists. some more feudalists than captialists, granted, but nowhere close to communism. heck, even real socialism has never been done on big scale (small scale experiments exist, they werent failures), even though Lenin did had the right ideas for that. He never got to get them through and the Stalin came....
It is impossible to show a real life example of communism because we had none in the history of humanity. Well some argue that some primitive cultures had it, but i dont think their thinking is solid there.
communism has never killed a person. thats like saying that a design for a tank that was never made killed people - nonesense.

Remember when battlefield was about being a footslogger with a shit weapon trying to climb up that goddamn Omaha beach map while the German players camped in their pillboxes?
I remember when Battlefield was about having to walk for five minutes to get to the centre of El Alamein because all the good vehicles were ninja'd in the first second of the game.
no shit vehicles, onyl shit drivers. you can take a jeep and destroy tanks with it. you jsut have to... come up with a right way.

I detect sarcasm. But there REALLY are games like that now. While it doesn't directly say America by name they American military are the enemy. The name is "Glorious Mission" and seems to be quite popular.
That's... scary. At least DICE is a Swedish developer (albeit working for EA I suppose). But "Glorious Mission" is made by the... PLA , otherwise known as the Chinese Army. As a training mission for soldiers. Oh my.

Cluster Bombs are not forbidden by the Geneva convention, cluster bombs are forbidden by the Convention on Cluster Munitions, which was not signed by any nation that actually uses cluster bombs (Russia, USA, Israel, China...) so means fuck all.

And it wasn't "The USA", it was a NATO mission that bombed Yugoslavia. And funny you mention ideology, when you're supporting the genocidal maniac Milosevic... lol.

Yeah, like a rebel in the Libyan or Syrian conflict, something like that! :)

Uhm, where exactly have I said I supported Milosevic at any time? I've been on public protests against the man since I was a child >.>

Or do you assume I have to side with a dictator to oppose the bombardment of my country, or any country for that matter, specifically when it targets or at the very least disregards civilians?

And I apologise, mistake in translation there (was a bit tired when I was writing that), I didn't mean cluster bombing, I meant carpet bombing, which is rated a war crime under the Geneva convention. Carpet bombing that was done by the US Air Force, under direct authorization of the US president at the time, Bill Clinton.

DICE are just wasting money by spending millions on a single-player campaign that no one wants. They'd be better off saving that cash and investing it in a long-term plan to fix the hundreds of inevitable bugs and glitches that will plague the multiplayer part of BF4. Of course, given DICE's patch history, they'd most likely ignore the bugs and glitches anyway and end up emptying the cookie jar at their favorite strip club.
I'm not sure about Xbox and PS3, but DICE's patch history has been nothing short of amazing on PC. All the way back to 1942, they've had timely and effective patches.

OT: I view BF3's Single Player as a pretty tech demo that got a lot of people interested in the series. Now, there's a huge amount of players online with all kinds of constantly populated servers.

And honestly, BF4's SP looks pretty decent this time around. No more corridors. And if it ends up being a long-ass tutorial for newbies, then that's fine, too. But there better be at least 12 maps to start on MP.

Funny how if Cuba is so great, why there are flotillas of immigrants coming to the US because it sucks balls to live there. I don't say this lightly, I grew up in the FL Keys and have met quite a few people who came over from there (90 miles south of my parents house is Cuba). None of them want to go back (again the people I've met) and I haven't heard any praise about how great the system is. Nevermind the oppression they face if they even speak a minutely bad word about the government. The cost of communism seems to be by and large your own personal opinion and basic civil right to speak your mind. Forums like these wouldn't exist under communist rule, too much free-thinking and opinions.
That means you don't agree with its ideology, (I didn't say agreed with it either). You said communism had failed in Cuba, I said credit where credits due. It hasn't failed. It continues to function, and offer the people there a better quality of life than what many impoverished Americans would experience.

I have to disagree with you on their PC patch history. DICE routinely release patches that break or unbalance other areas of their games. They ignore bugs for months, sometimes years (hello, knife rubberbanding in Bad Company 2). They ask for community feedback, yet more often than not do exactly the opposite of what the community asks for.

I still can't get into a game of BF3 without the server crashing, despite the fact that DICE claimed they fixed that problem shortly after the supposed DDOS attack. DICE may make technically brilliant games, but their incompetence when it comes to releasing proper fixes sours the experience for a lot of people.
