Name: Erika Park

Age: 17

Sex: Female

Appearance: Standing at 5?7? tall, Erika is Asian with porcelain skin, with brown eyes. She weighs 133 pounds, has a slim very fit build, and has short dark brown hair that falls to just above her shoulders, with the bottom inch of her hair dyed a dark red. The top of her right shoulder blade and the back of her neck is also host to a seemingly permanent lightning flower, that?s lightly faded to an orangish-red colour.

In terms of clothing Erika capri pants or jeans, and is rarely seen wearing shorts. For shirts she normally wears tank tops with a black short sleeved vest over top of it. In terms of footwear Erika normally sports light hiking shoes. For the journey, she?s decided to carry around a black hiking backpack that?s capable of carrying all of her stuff. A slightly more notable part of her appearance is the buckle on the belt that she wears, that is slotted so that it is able to hold six miniaturized Pok&#233 Balls.

Personality: Erika is reserved or outgoing like a person?s wet or dry. Normally she?s in a good move and will happy start a conversation or keep one up when someone else starts one. On the off chance that she?s sad or unhappy she?ll become withdrawn from others and will act in bizarre ways in order to drive off other people. Because of these two opposite ends of her personality she?s able to identify when people like to be left alone and will refrain from bugging them if she sense that they do.

Beyond that Erika is a naturally intelligent person. She graduated high school a year early which shows her ability to charge forward into things. Albeit this has also proven to be a problem in the past as she can get in over her head if she does it rashly. When it comes to competitiveness, Erika is very mellow. If there isn?t a good reason to compete she likely won?t participate or try since winning won?t be important to her.

In terms of Pok&#233mon she?s always really playful and cheerful to be around them, unless they are an electric type. When confronted by an electric type Pok&#233mon, Erika will tense up and slowly retreat away from it due to fear.

Profession: Erika is currently a Pok&#233mon Trainer.

Talents: Beyond her standard high school education, Erika is a decent cook, and is skilled at drawing light sketches, but isn?t as talented when trying to make a more detailed drawing. She?s also able to usually find and make herbal medicines due to her parent?s work.

Starter Pok&#233mon: A female Swinub named Burtha. Ability: Think Fat. Moves: Tackle, Odor Sleuth, and Mud Sport.

Inventory: Erika carries the following in her pack or on her person:
-8 Pok&#233 Balls
-1 Net Ball
-1 Dusk Ball
-4 potions
-2 Antidotes, paralyze heals, burn heals, and awakenings
-A Pok&#233gear with loaded with a Johto radio card, and a Johto map
-A canteen
-A week?s worth of clothes
-Personal hygiene items
-Sleeping bag
-Tent
-Sketch book with a pack of charcoal and fine carbon pencils
-A pot, a pan, a cutting knife, and a ladle
-A large bag of rice
-Water proof matches and a lighter
-P$3500 in cash

Hometown: Mahogany Town, Johto

Biography: Erika was born as the oldest child to a family of herbal medicine and RageCandyBar producers in Mahogany Town. When growing up Erika was either out on nature hikes with her mother looking for rarer herbal medicine, that they weren?t producing enough of at home, or watching Pryce battle the traveling trainers at the Mahogany Town Gym. Bath of these experiences gave her a young impression of Pok&#233mon raised by trainers, and Pok&#233mon in the wild.

When she became older, Erika started to go to school. Due the small size of her village there were only a few students who were mostly isolated in their grades with gaps in between. School never had much importance to her so she would often take off with some of the kids and go to Mt. Mortar, the Lake of Rage, or the Ice Path. This would often get her in trouble, but since she was out having fun she wouldn?t care. Soon enough her skipping led to suspensions. While suspended she was always forced into helping her mother make herbal medicines as a punishment.

At the age of twelve Erika wanted to become a Pok&#233mon trainer and attempt the Johto League Challenge. However since she didn?t have any money and her parents refused to support her, and couldn?t since her baby brother Jason was born; she wasn?t able to take on the challenge. Being a stubborn at the time, Erika eventually persuaded her parents to support her start of her journey, when she graduated from high school. Soon enough Erika was studying harder and showing up to class more and after a while moved a grade ahead.

The only thing that would stop her from trying to get to her dream sooner, was a childhood calling to go out hiking and sketching the scenery from one place or another. This would almost prove fatal when she was fifteen and she ran into an enraged Flaaffy. The Wool Pok&#233mon chased Erika down when she tried to flee and landed a Thunder Shock to her right shoulder blade and neck. After she was found it took a month for the burns to heal and for her to find out a permanent scar was to be left behind.

It took a while before Erika?s parents could coax her to leave the town again and take a trip to Blackthorn City with them. On the way back Erika got separated from her family and ended up taking a stray shortcut through the Ice Path home. Along the way, a pocket on her pack ripped open and a trail of food followed her home. When she arrived she found that she had arrived ahead of her family and that a Swinub had been following her home. She tried to quickly get inside but the Pig Pok&#233mon quickly rushed inside behind her, following the food trail, and eventually Erika was backed into a corner in her room. She started to poorly throw small toys and trinkets at the Pok&#233mon hoping to drive it away. After a couple seconds, she accidently threw a Pok&#233 Ball that she had gotten years ago when she first wanted to take on the Johto League Challenge and it hit the Swinub.

After a minute of shaking the Pok&#233mon was locked in Pok&#233 Ball and Erika just sat there unmoving till her family came home after searching for her. It took a while but Erika finally warmed up the Swinub that she caught and soon began to love Pok&#233mon that weren?t electric types again. Soon after, while studying, Erika found a place known as Gensia in a book and became intrigued with it. Before long her past dream of taking on the Johto League Challenge turned into her knew goal of taking on the Gensia League Challenge.

As soon as she graduated, Erika?s father, Lin, and her mother, Jessica, bestowed upon her a series of things that they had collected over the past five years for when she would take the Johto League Challenge. With tears in her eyes she hugged her parents and packed her things. The next day she set off with her Swinub, Burtha, for the Olivine Port in order to take a boat to Gensia?s Aquamar City.

Also to anyone wondering, you can't use "é" in spoilers due to how the spoiler coding works. Instead you have to use &/#233; (without the / included) in place of an "é" in order for a "é" to show up when you open the spoiler. Kind of annoying, but it looks a lot better than what I believe is Hanzi littering your sheet.

Let me know if anything needs to be changed. I'll be on planes for the vast majority of tomorrow but I will be back home on Tuesday.
Why does your character have a nine-inch blade? I've noticed a lot of characters with knives among their possessions, but very little as to why they would even have them.
In my case he needs them to create firewood out of branches, and to eat with (the swiss one only), among other utilities. He would not use them as a weapon, though.

EDIT: Removed some unecessary phrasings.
Similar situation here, the idea was to have a useful tool for survival.I can get rid of it if you like.

It looks like kanji to me. Specifically some kind of common Mandarin symbol.

Specifically it's actually Traditional Chinese characters. I was using Hanzi as a short in place filler despite it being technically incorrect since it's a simplified form of Traditional Chinese. Kanji itself is a Japanese character language adopted from Hanzi.

The more you know!

Another thing that seems to pop up when writing in spoiler brackets is when I add a "´" after an "s." I added "text" in front of it.

´s text

If I don't put any characters in front of it, it looks like this:

Third draft. Hopefully I didn't bork my English so badly this time.

Name: Thomas Johansson
Age: 20
Sex: Male

Appearance: Blond, brown-eyed Caucasian standing at roughly 1.80 meters, weighing something in between 85 and 90 kilos. Fit-looking, but neither toned or athletic in appearance. His thin hair is combed backwards, accentuating his square jaw, robust chin and thick neck. His overall body-structure is mesoformous.

Thomas' wardrobe consists mainly of casual wear, with some exeptions made for wildlife clothing, primarily used for rough-terrain navigation. His defining clothing piece is a low cap in dark blue, which he is rarely seen without (assuming temperatures do not fall below 6 degrees Celsius, in which case he switches to woolen beanies). Preferred shirts are polos layered with heavy V-necks, preferred lowerwear is knee-long shorts. Shoes used mostly are sneakers, but he also keeps a pair of rubber boots on hand. Most of his equipment is stored in a camping bag he carries on his back, the rest (accessories, first aid and hygiene products) are kept in a cartousche at his hip.

Personality: Outwardly, Thomas has an open, attentive, curious and happy-looking face. However, he only looks the latter; he is actually quite neutral in disposition, which becomes apparent after a while when talking to him. Thomas can also be fairly insensitive and blunt in his statements, and while this is somewhat tempered by a willingness to rethink his opinions (this being a necessity for his profession), often he ends up being yelled at (and frequently, rightly so) for his views.

Profession: Pokemon field researcher. This includes both wild and domesticated Pokemon.

Talents: Thomas is a decent multitasker, who can read, write and conduct a Pokemon battle while at same time also exercise critical thinking of his research findings. He is also a very quick writer. Due to his preference of hiking over any other mode of transportation, he has also developed a knack for moving through rough terrain quickly. He can also be very stealhty when it comes to getting up close to wild Pokemon for observation.

Starter Pokemon: A male Machop known as Henrik. He knows the moves Low Kick and Leer and has the Guts ability.

Henrik shares his trainer's attentiveness, however, in contrast to Thomas he can also be quite the tease. Having been raised by Thomas from birth, he has attempted to learn Thomes' language with little to no success. The only words he has been able to use are "Tomas", "'Ej", and "Okej." He also seems to have difficulty pronouncing an "h."

Henrik is frequently forced to rely on himself in combat, due to the fact that his master is often writing down notes while battling. Thomas does tends to drop this habit when things get heated or dire, though.

Inventory
General camping gear, including sleeping bag, Trangia stove and camping cushion.
Swiss army knife for eating, cutting food and shaving.
Camping knife, primarily for making firewood.
Three sets of shirts, trousers/shorts, underwear and socks.
Rubber boots.
A collapsible fishing rod.
Matches and a week's worth of protein-rich travel food for two.
Several empty notebooks and writing tools.
Referential research books.
Washing soap, shaving cream and shaving lotion.
Map of Gensia and compass.
First aid kit.
Five Potions, Antidotes, Awakenings and Paralysis Heals.
Three Poke Balls.
Five Repels.
2500 P$.

Hometown: Fallarbor town, Hoenn

Biography: Thomas is the second-to-eldest child of a couple of Swedish immigrants to Hoenn. Generally he got along well with his parents and siblings, but he periodically got tired of their company and wished to travel in the wilds in solitude. He often ventured into the mountains on his own (equipped with Super Repels, of course) over the weekends, where he put his survival skills to the test over and over again. By the age of fifteen he was an accomplished amateur hiker and well regarded even amongst his professional peers.

He had little contact with Pokemon before he took on a summer course of Pokemon research when he was sixteen, at which point he had found his calling. Later that year he went to the Scientists Boarding school in Slateport. Thomas focused more on his scientific studies in favor of mountain hiking, and though far from the top of his class, got his scientific degree with flying colours three years later.

As a reward for finishing his studies, his older sister, who had at that point become a professional hiker, gifted him with an egg she had found while traveling Mt. Chimney. This egg were to become Thomas' Machop called Henrik, his primary guard against the wild pokemon. Combining his scientific degree with his hiking skills, he became an observer in the field.

After a solid year of field research in the area surrounding Fallarbor and one expedition to Mt. Chimney, Thomas decided it was time to take a vacation, choosing Gensia as his destination. In truth however, Thomas is the type of person who will never be on vacation, and he is ready to continue his work at any time.

Now for some questions:

What effect would PP have on the RP?

Do we actually make use of Pokémon´s abilities like No Guard or Rock Head?

What effect would an attack´s accuracy have on the RP?

I just have one question. What does 'mesoformous' mean? Google can't find anything to explain it and it's not recognised as a word in my Firefox dictionary.

Now for some questions:

What effect would an attack´s accuracy have on the RP?
PP has next to no effect in battle. Pokémon can use most moves without any issue: exceptions would be moves with either 5 or 10 PP in the games, which would naturally need to be limited. Besides, I imagine the player-characters will visit Pokémon Centers often, so PP won't really be an issue.

Abilities are, of course, used in the role-play. They can be mentioned depending on the writer.

Given the somewhat more free-form as opposed to turn-based nature of Pokémon battles, accuracy only really has an impact if you specify that your attack misses. Some moves naturally have low accuracy, of course, so keep that in mind. The same applies to moves like Double Team, which make your Pokémon harder to hit.

Sergey Ivanov
Name: Sergey Ivanov
Age: 17
Sex: Male

Appearance: Sergey is 5.11, with a pale complexion common to northerners. He has black hair and a bit of a haughty look to him. He walks with a limp (favoring his right leg over his right) and is left-handed.

His favored attire is a lab coat he's owned for years, over a nodescript grey polo and black pants. However, due to circumstances (described below), he has donned jeans and a white t-shirt, as well as a grey jacket.

Personality: Sergey is, at heart, a cheerful person with a dry sense of humor. He doesn't go out of his way to make friends, but is extremely loyal to the friends he does make.

He values intelligence as a character trait above all others, and often doesn't hide his distaste for those that never bother to better their minds. Due to this, he can come off as rather blunt, and even rude.

Despite his cheerful nature, Sergey is a bit of a pessimist. He is a cynic, but he makes light of the fact with sardonic comments and sarcasm. Recent events have compounded the issue, increasing his cynicsm and muting his cheerful outlook.

Profession: Pokemon Researcher/Battler

Talents: Sergey is an adept learner. He knows a great deal about the world, and pokemon in general. He has substantial experience surviving in cold weather (though no experience in hot, dry climes). He has a working knowledge of general anatomy and medicine, and can perform first aid on both humans and pokemon (though pokemon that significally differ in makeup from humans, such as steel and rock types, are beyond his care)

Starter Pokémon: Snorunt
Gender: Female
Ability: Ice Body

Powder Snow
Leer
Double Team

Inventory:
Map
1 Pokeball (in use)
General First-Aid kit (note this is not equivalent to an in-game potion or other healing item)
Pokedex (Somewhat-filled, mainly with Sinnoh-specific entries)
Clothes (in use)
-Additionally, Sergey has his labcoat, which he is not wearing
P$750
4 Military-grade MREs
2 Potions

Hometown: Snowpoint City, Sinnoh

Biography: Sergey is the son of an ex-military colonel and a military scientist. Both worked for the military in a land to the north of Sinnoh (Real-life Russia/Battle Zone) before moving to Snowpoint City. Sergey's father had a difficult time adjusting to civilian life in a new country - one less stict than his own - and pushed Sergey harder than the young boy could cope with.

Sergey's mother - before meeting her future husband - worked in a military lab that was attempting to alter pokemon into powerful weapons. She never cared about the creatures she was hurting, and was furious when the project was shut down.

His mother, once in Snowpoint, ran the local Pokemon Center as a doctor. Little did the public know that she was continuing her experiments on the wild indiginous ice types.

Sergey became a researchers assistant at the Center, investigating the Pokerus virus. He also worked shifts helping the nurses tend to wounded pokemon.

When Sergey - already resentful of his father - discovered his mother nigh on torturing a wild Snorunt - he stole the pokemon and fled Sinnoh - stowing away on a ship bound for Genesia. He became friends with the Snorunt - which he named Marie.

Now, Sergey is attempting to make a new life for himself, in which he can distance himself from his parents and their crimes. At the same time, he is attempting to avoid attracting the attention of those his parents may have looking for him.

Sergey wants to prove to himself that he can be successful, and that he hasn't inherited his parent's lack of morals. He is unsure how exactly to go about this, though he wants to better his battling prowess to cement his independence.

Edited, to include further details I was unable to add previously due to time.

I made a quick dictionary read and found that I had translated the term incorrectly. The proper word is "mesomorphic."

Now for some questions:

Do we actually make use of Pokémon´s abilities like No Guard or Rock Head?

What effect would an attack´s accuracy have on the RP?

All good to hear. That leaves one question I forgot about earlier:

Will the RP retain the four-moves-limit?

Overall though, I think I want to do one final draft and let you judge that one. So here goes:

By the age of fifteen he was an accomplished amateur hiker and respected even amongst his professional peers.

He had little contact with Pok&#233mon before he took on a summer course of Pok&#233mon research when he was sixteen, at which point he had found his calling. Later that year he went to the Scientists Boarding school in Slateport. During this period Thomas started putting more focus into his scientific studies in favor of hiking, though he would take long forest walks when possible on weekends. Though far from the top of his class, he still got his scientific degree with high grades three years later. Combining his scientific degree with his hiking skills, Thomas became an researcher in the field.

As a reward for finishing his studies, his older sister, who had at that point become a professional hiker, gifted him with an egg she had found while traveling Mt. Chimney. This egg were to hatch Thomas' Machop called Henrik, who became both Thomas' guard against the wild pokemon and his foremost research subject.

After a solid year of field research in the area surrounding Fallarbor and one week-long expedition to Mt. Chimney, Thomas decided it was time to take a vacation, choosing Gensia as his destination. In truth however, Thomas is the type of person who will never be on vacation, as he is ready to continue his work at any time, any place.

EDIT: Removed a double-negative.

EDIT 2: Deleted the second question, it was already answered in the OP.

Name: Rachel Allen
Age: 18
Sex: Female
Appearance: Rachel is rather tall for a girl, at 178cm. Her light blonde hair frames her face, contrasting with her seemingly permanently tanned olive skin. She has bright blue eyes, always covered by a pair of thin framed, square red glasses.

Although she has a feminine physique, it is usually covered by loose fitting, comfortable clothing, usually a pair of jeans with a colourful tee. Being sensitive to the cold, she is also often wearing a light grey hooded top. She carries a black backpack filled with her essentials. She also has a light blue messenger bag, on the strap are six Velcro strips, the first of which has a pokeball attached to it.

Personality: Rachel is a seemingly shy girl. However, this is mostly due to not wanting to be misunderstood, or say the wrong things. Therefore she struggles with initially approaching people, and in general will make new friends through mutual acquaintances. However, despite finding it hard to approach strangers in order to make friends, if someone annoys her, she will let it be known. She has little patience for rude and impolite people.

With her often taciturn nature, it has shocked some of her friends when she suddenly stopped being quite to shout at strangers, her quick temper over-riding her innate quietness.

Rachel takes a keen interest in academics, and she takes a particular interest in biology, especially Pokemon biology. Faced with a decision to go to college or take the Gensia Pokemon League challenge, she decided on the latter, so she could gain first hand knowledge rather than learning through textbooks.

Profession: Trainer and hobbyist pokemon researcher.

Talents: Rachel has an intuitive ability to sense what types of Pokemon may be living in a certain area based on its characteristics. She is also a quick learner, both academically and during practical tasks, so when shown how to perform a task, she is usually able to remember how to do it on her own.

Starter Pokémon: A level 5 Scyther known as Ninja (knows Vacuum Wave, Quick Attack, Leer and Focus Energy)

Inventory: 5 Pokeballs, 2 Great balls, 4 Potions, 1 of each status ailment healer, 5 days of clothes, 1 man pop-up tent, P$200 cash, P$2700 on card, mobile phone.
Hometown: Goldenrod, Johto

Biography: Rachel lived in the quiet, contemplative town of Lavender before moving to the busy metropolis of Goldenrod City. Her parents were both born and raised in Lavender, where they were high school sweet hearts. Rachel grew up their till the age of 11, moving to Goldenrod just before starting senior school.

In her formative years, Rachel?s parents would alternate their shifts at work, allowing one of them to always be at home to look after her. This led to Rachel spending most of her early childhood either with her parents or on play dates that they set up. This led to her becoming a little secluded from children other than those of her parent?s friends.

Her parents worked in the Kanto radio tower in Lavender town, and their jobs involved making sure they stayed up to date with the latest music. This meant that Rachel learnt a lot about music early on, and has loved it ever since. She would spend hours listening to her parents records whilst reading her favourite books or studying.

Eventually her dad was offered a much more lucrative offer at the radio station in Goldenrod. Having always dreamed of living in Johto, her parent?s decided to move for the new job. Although Rachel was upset at having to leave the people she loved in Lavender, she was excited about living in a big city. She loved exploring, and this would give her plenty to explore.

Within a week of arriving at Goldenrod, she had discovered the National Park. She loved visiting it just to watch the various types of Pokemon live out their normal lives. It was around this time that she became interested in Pokemon biology. She started to read books about how Pokemon live, and started trying harder in school.

This was the first time that Rachel had truly come into contact with the world of Pokemon. Her parents had never been particularly interested in battling or raising Pokemon, and her friends in Lavender had been too young to have Pokemon. She had heard that there were Pokemon living in the Pokemon Tower, but she never saw them during her visits.

Rachel became accustomed to spending her mornings at school, and then her evenings at the Park, watching the Pokemon. At the time she didn?t really understand trainers. She thought it cruel to force Pokemon to fight each other, but over time she realised that even in the wild they would often fight, sometimes over food, sometimes over territory, sometimes for seemingly no reason at all. Rachel was fascinated by the huge range of behaviours that she saw each day, and she felt like she learnt something new each time she went to the park
.
Rachel?s parents, however, were less fond of the time she spent at the National Park. They worried about her always being alone, and they would prefer her to spend more time with peers. They banned her from visiting the park, and encouraged her to spend more time with her school friends. This upset Rachel greatly, but she decided to try to make her parents happy. She stopped visiting the park, and started to spend time with friends.

Eventually she managed to find a good balance between being on her own and spending time with her friends, and her parents let her back to the park. On her first time back, she was approached by an inquisitive young scyther. Although scyther?s usually stay away from humans, this young one approached Rachel without fear. At first she backed away from the pokemon, not knowing its intentions and scared of its big scythes. Rachel soon realised that the pokemon didn?t seem to mean her any harm, so she cautiously approached, and patted its head. After playing with the pokemon all afternoon, she left it to go home. However, when she got there, she discovered that the scyther had followed her home. After a long talk with her parents they allowed her to keep it.

Rachel had little interest in battling, choosing instead to keep the scyther as more of a pet. Eventually she graduated from high school, achieving high grades in most subjects. After finishing, she decided to take time off from studying in order to get some hands on experience with her pokemon, and to learn more about the world. She decided to take the Pokemon League challenge in Gensia, since it seemed battling was the best way to learn about pokemon.

She hadn?t yet battled with Ninja, so she knew it would be tough, but over the last couple of years they have bonded strongly, and she knew she could trust him to protect her on this perilous new stage in her life.

Well, here's my completed sheet. Hope it's of sufficient quality to get in.

Yes, each Pokémon will only have four moves and one Ability at any given time. As an aside, you cannot switch between Abilities.

But don't some pokemon have 2 abilities? Or is just possible for a pokemon to have one ability or the other?

It's one or the other.

Another side note: For character sheets that do not have their Pokémon's abilities listed, the Trainer will need to specify their Ability in-character, preferably by scanning it with their Pokédex.

I hope I'm not too late, but I'm still gonna submit this anyway.
Name: Caid Murdock
Age: 21
Sex: Female.

Appearance: First thing that should be noticed is that she's TALL. She's close to 6'5, and has well-defined, but rather lean muscle tone. She's got a pretty face, with dark, almost reddish eyes and a light complexion. Caid's got a mess of greasy black hair, with the sides cut short, as a clue that she used to have a Mohawk. She normally wears a red bandanna, and a black leather biker vest, as a testament to her time as part of a Motorcycle Club in Kanto. Also, she wears dirty, dark gray jeans and thick boots. Aside from the pokeballs on her belt, the only other thing on it is a big chain connecting to her wallet.

Personality: She likes grossing people, but aside from that, she's always quick to crack a joke or make a quip on the situation. It's clear that under her normally abrasive personality, she's a nice gal and fiercely loyal to those who she deems "friend."

Caid's really proud of her cooking, and can get really hurt if there's someone that doesn't like her cooking.

Sadly, she tends to only think of the present and act on impulse rather than the future. She has quite the nasty temper as well.

She's got a weak spot for younger men, romance wise and has been known to swing toward her own gender as well.

Profession: Former cook for her parents restaurant, and former member of the Kanto Rider's federation, now traveler and collector of pokemon.

Talents: She's quite physically strong, and can fix an engine in 10 minutes flat. Aside from what she'd call the fine art of verbal persuasion (intimidation) the only other thing of worth is that she's a great cook.

Starter Pokémon: Ekans, named Cassidy (called Cazz), ability intimidate, moves: Bite, Wrap, poison sting, (sludge bomb, if you can accept a TM)

Inventory:
*One purple colored pokeball (for Cazz), one great ball, and four regular pokeballs all hanging from her belt

*Book of matches

*Small notepad (with recipes written in it)
(TM 36, if that's okay)

Hometown: Fuchsia City, in Kanto

Biography: Born and raised in a Fuchsia City chicken restaurant, Caid was born to cook. She'd help her daddy make chicken for all of the people that came in, always loving the look on their faces. Her parents wanted nothing more for her than to continue their legacy and take on the family business.

But against her parents wishes, Caid was drawn to the Cycling Road, and thanks to a Cueball, the biker lifestyle. She spent a lot of the days of her youth running up and down the road on foot, to the day she could finally afford the bicycle, aaall the way until she could afford to buy a motorbike and join the Kanto Riders. Eventually, the Riders were assimilated into Team Rocket. Caid didn't really wanna join a group that was known for the kinda stuff they were, and dropped out with grace.

Not that she'd admit it, when she was just a pup, she had a crush on Koga, the gym leader of Fuchsia City, and desired a poison type Pokemon just like his. For her 10th birthday, her daddy gave her the little purple Pokeball that held what she'd come to find out was an Ekans. She'd normally travel around with the snake draped around her neck, becoming known as Venom to the Riders. She now spends her days wandering, catching any Pokemon that catches her eyes. She was drawn to the new region mainly for the chance to discover some new poison types, and the opportunity to learn the local cuisine. (She's really kinda bummed the ship wouldn't let her take her bike along.)

Notes: She's got tattoos of different points of her life on her arms, and she might tell the stories behind them to those who inquire. They may even be true.

I really, really hope this is okay. If it's not, lemme know and I can try and fix it.

Gotcha. As an aside, I edited my sheet (third time now) to get rid of those Traditional Chinese characters. Wasn't aware that they showed up again when you make edits.

Name: Alan Baines
Age: 18
Sex: Male

Appearance: Alan stands at about 5'10 and is Caucasian with brown eyes and light brown hair that he keeps cut fairly short. He weighs in at about 180 pounds and has a fairly fit and muscular build from all his time exercising and working out.

Alan usually wears a grey hooded sweatshirt, a pair of jeans, and white running shoes with red stripes. When he's training he changes into a white sleeveless shirt and a black pair of shorts. Currently his left arm is bandaged tightly from his wrist to just above the elbow to prevent it from moving while it heals.

Personality: Alan is a very competitive person. He will almost never back down from a challenge and is quick to put forth challenges of his own. Even on his own he is always pushing himself as far as he can go. This can make him a bit difficult to get along with at times but he does his best to not be a jerk about it or gloat too much when he wins.

Profession: Former Boxer, now a Pokémon Trainer.

Talents: Alan has been training as a boxer for most of his life and as result he is strong, fast, and throws a mean right hook. He also excels at quick thinking while under pressure.

Starter Pokémon: A Tyrogue named Clay. It's ability is Vital Spirit and it knows Tackle, Helping Hand, Fake Out and Foresight.

Inventory: Alan carries a backpack with the following in it:
-10 Poké Balls
-5 Potions
-5 Antidotes
-4 changes of clothes plus his training clothes
-A training journal to keep track of progress that both he and Clay make and to plan out what areas they need to work on the next day.
-A weeks worth of protein bars for both him and Clay
-2 water bottles
-A book on Pokémon nutrition and fitness

Alan has about P$ 3500 in his wallet.

Hometown: Cianwood City in Johto.

Biography: Alan was born in Cianwood City to Michael and Judy Baines. His father is a trainer at Chuck's gym and once Alan was old enough, he began to spend most of his time after school and on weekends at the gym as well. As a result, Alan was no stranger to Pokémon but he found himself more interested in training himself to be as strong as he could be rather than train a Pokémon.

Chuck's gym was the perfect place for Alan to train since it was home to others who felt the same as he did. With the help of Chuck and his father, Alan became a powerful fighter by the age of 16 and went on to win a number of junior boxing tournaments. Once he turned 18 his goal was to enter the world of adult boxing and become a contender that would rival even Chuck.

One day Alan was jogging down route 47 as a usual part of his training when a shortcut through some tall grass brought him face to face with an angry Miltank. He managed to escape the encounter with his life but the Miltank broke his left arm badly. The doctors managed to heal the bone but a ligament in his elbow was torn too badly to easily repair. With that arm out of commission, it was unlikely that Alan could return to his career as a boxer anytime soon, if at all.

Having his only dream come to an end was a crushing experience for Alan and all his training ceased while he brooded over his broken arm. His father couldn't bear to see his son give up on his dreams like this and came up with an idea to give Alan something to strive for again. He gave Alan Clay, who had just been born a few months ago, and said "Son, if you can't become the strongest than you should at least be able to train the strongest. If you think you can handle it that is."

Just as his father had expected, Alan found the challenge irresistable and was coming up with a training regimen for Clay within days. Alan was a bit disappointed to see how weak Clay was compared to other Pokémon but that just made the challenge even more enticing. But if he were to stay in Cianwood, he would have the aid of his father and Chuck and that simply wouldn't do. Alan wanted to go somewhere far away and prove that he could train Clay to be the strongest there was all by himself.

He had heard talk from travelers passing through of Gensia and it's Pokémon League which seemed as good a place as any to start. After saying his goodbyes and stocking up on supplies for the journey, Alan went to Olivine City and set sail to begin his adventures and training in Gensia.

Name: Kairi Hikari
Age: 12
Sex: Female

Appearance: 4' 3" and 72 lbs, Kairi [http://i381.photobucket.com/albums/oo252/Nekochild08/Chibi.jpg] appears to be the very definition of a tomboy. With short brown hair that falls down to her shoulders and wide blue eyes, she looks at the world as one large playground to be explored. Her clothes usually consist of red bicycle shorts with a matching t-shirt, as well as white sneakers with a Masterball design on opposite sides of each shoe, left being on the left side, and right being on the right. During the chilly seasons, she will don warmer attire, such as long pants and a jacket, all of which are tucked in her backpack, which is red with a Riolu giving the peace sign on the center.

Profession: Rookie Trainer

Talents: Kairi has always had a natural talent for cooking, and being on her own for the past two years (save the occasional friend to travel with), she has only learned to develop that talent even more, using the herbs and spices of various regions to create delicious dishes for both humans and Pokemon.

Starter Pokemon: Vulpix: Ember, Tail Whip; ability Flash Fire

Inventory:
5 Pokeballs
2 Potions
1 Flashlight
A small bag containing various herbs and spices from various regions, used for cooking.
Clothes (long sweat pants and a snow jacket, as well as plenty of spare underwear and socks)
Food and drinks (Riceball/donut, Potato Chips, Lemonade and sandwiches to last three days.)
Tied on the left side of her backpack is a sleeping bag with a Pikachu design on it.
Tied to the right side is a bag filled with cooking pots and utensils.
1 Diary with a Jigglypuff on the front cover. Contains recipes and daily going-ons.

Her wallet contains P$2000.

Hometown: Opelucid City

Biography: Kairi was born a single child in the busy city of Opelucid, where she was raised early to appreciate the power of Pokemon, especially those of the Dragon type, thanks to the Gym Leader Iris and her apprentices. Her parents had both been trainers, but once they settled down as a couple they gave up the path to raise a family. From the very beginning she has loved Pokemon, and as she has grown her love has not dimished in the slightest. At the tender age of four, she made the declaration that she would become the greatest Pokemon trainer in the 'whole wide world', but at age six, she seemed to calm down a little more, and simply wanted to settle on becoming a great trainer. She studied hard in school and happily soaked up all of the lessons, both Pokemon and Human related. Her tomboyish attitude allowed her to fit in like a shoe with the boys, and she would always run and play with them while also getting into mischief.

At eight, she started seriously thinking about what it would mean to become a trainer. Leaving the home, becoming completely reliant on oneself in terms of where to go or who to see. She couldn't go unprepared, and she knew that she would have to eat the most, so she took to learning how to cook. This was something that she excelled at. Whether it was cooking cookies, sandwiches or ramen, she always gave it a certain something that made it delicious. She also had a habit of going out and trying to find different seasonings on her spare time.

Her parents always knew that their daughter was looking forward to the time she would finally leave the nest as a trainer, and because of this, her father passed on the baby of his prized Ninetales to his daughter on her ninth birthday. He told her that the Vulpix was her very first Pokemon, and that she was going to have to take care of it well if she was going to be a trainer. From feeding her to training her, Kairi took her responsibilities seriously and worked hard to build a relationship with her Vulpix. As a habit, she would ask the Pokemon League hopefuls passing through to help her get stronger by battling with her and Vulpix. Not once did she win, of course, but she always gained a lesson from each battle. She even challenged Iris to a battle once, and during this battle she became friends with the young Leader. She lost that battle as well.

After that, Iris took to teaching her more about Pokemon, from how to avoid certain status effects all the way to when the best time to use a potion was. Under Iris, Kairi learned a lot. She would learn her hardest lesson when she turned ten however. The lesson of becoming a Trainer and leaving the home, and all of the protection that she had taken for granted. It was tough going for a while, and she would often go a few days with only the natural surroundings to live off of. She loved every minute of it though, and together with her Vulpix she explored and learned.

Now twelve, she stands at the port town of Aquamar City after hearing that it was a completely new area to explore. In the past two years she had explored much of her homeland, and even traveled to the Kanto region, but only for a month or two. She had first heard about the Gensia Region on a trip to Castelia City, where a pair of trainers had said they were going to check it out. Curious and excited, she followed them to the docks and used some of her savings to buy a ticket. Her Vulpix still beside her, she was ready to face whatever challenges would be put in her way.

Notes: All of Kairi's clothes have a Pokemon print on them. On her shorts, there's a Squirtle on the right leg and her shirt has a Vulpix on it.
