Eh, it's not my taste.
Evidently not yours either.
It's OK for what it is, and it doesn't take itself seriously at all, which is probably best when approaching material like this.

I love it. Granted, it took me quite a while to love it, but I do all the same. Not only is its gameplay absolutely exquisite, it is oversexualized to the point where it wasn't intended to be sexy in the first place, but rather silly, almost as though it's commentating on the state of the game industry. Almost.

 

[Sniper Team 4]

My only problem with the game is that the story isn't remotely linked together. I don't understand why she goes where she does, and how one moment I'm in a village and the next I'm at the top of a shrine fighting a super Angel. Story is important to me, and Ninja Gaiden proved that your story doesn't have to make sense, but it can still flow.
Still having fun with it though. I wish there was a block button instead of a dodge, but oh well. There's something very thrilling about the combat in this game.
