Beat your expectation of a game?

MGO (Metal Gear Online) was also brilliant, but why isn't there any female models to choose from when creating a character? Sad me.

I don't know why but i was sort of hoping for a female model in MGO after that "Girl Gamers" thread a few days ago (in a non-perverted way ) I don't know why, but i thought it would be pretty interesting. Plus the models could be different equipment for the FROG units. Suggest it to a GM.

Now that I think about it notice how all of the elite soldiers in mgs4 outside of the bosses are female in MGS4......The girls that whoops your ass rock. A for games that beat y expectations I would have to say Zone of the Enders 2, Crackdown, and Ninja Gaiden fit the bill.

Seriously, I may have to do this, I would love to have a female character to play as, but knowing what will happen, every guy will end up making a female character as well, just because that seems to be the latest craze. It seems like every mamorpagur has five million female characters and only 1% of them are actually girls. Then I have to hear "there's no girls on the internet!" or "prove that you are a female, take pictures of yourself holding up a sign with our names on it, and show your breasts!". It's really quite annoying...

Shadow of the Colossus, I heard good things about it, but I thought it would be "meh" and there'd be only about 6 colossi to kill. Also, when you start it, with the slow framerate, weird graphics, and shaky camera, and hard-to-maneuver horse, you think "well this game sucks!". But as soon as you begin fighting the colossi, for me anyway, it hits you how great the game really is. Also, when you get to exploring and experiencing the vast land and all it's secrets, you realize it is truly great. So, for me, SotC was the one game that REALLY beat my expectations.
