I always prefer the British real ales myself. My favourite stuff is actually brewed at a micro-brewery in Canterbury, the only place to get it. Streetlight Porter they call it, very nice stuff.

I'm also a fan of Sharps' Doom Bar, stuff is very good.

Most of the time, I drink from the bottle. Such as right now. I'm drinking these from the bottle:

I have a Dogfish Head beer glass that I use occasionally, though. Mostly for a delicious, ridiculously hoppy Dogfish Head IPA. Their 90 minute IPA is my favorite beer.

My top 5:

I must confess to being a frequent Stella drinker (albeit as a precursor to getting smashed on shots). Not tonight though, my string vest's in the wash.

I did used to drink Budweiser a fair bit but it goes down like water these days.

And never have I been faced with someone brazen enough to transport to me the golden liquid in such a vessel of effeminate delicacy - such a man would meet his end with said vessel sticking out of his eye socket. Grrr.

I have my own mug at home. Drink beer from a glass, Ha. Never on my life. That said I prefer nice strong European beers since pretty much every popular beer (especially corona) tastes like watered down urine (except from corona which tastes like watered down, watered down urine).

I have a fondness for a czech beer called Okocim, I enjoy their strong brand (tasty and 7% alcohol? Win!). I also have a habit of trying random beers. Usually I'll go to the LCBO* and pick up a few I've never tried before just for fun.
Okocim is a Polish beer, grr...
Gah! You're right! Apologies to the Polish for my brain not working properly... possibly due to too much of their beer.
Apology half accepted. As penance you must drink a glass of beer :)

Stella ain't a bad "getting wasted beer". Far from being as good as abbey beers but sure as hell tastes better than beers like Molson, Budweiser, Keystone, Pilsner, Coors, etc.

I usually stick to cider or Jack Daniels, but Newcastle Brown is a little bit of heaven in a bottle. I love the stuff.

I like beer.

Lots of beer.

Hmm... Favorite of all time would have to be a 1554 Enlightened Black Ale by New Belgium located in Fort Collins, CO. Nice, dark beer, lots of flavor. After that, well, it depends on what mood I'm in. Lately I've been stuck on New Belgium's Super Cru, as well as some of their other Lips of Faith beers, but I'm good with just about anything really.

However, I have recently gotten in to brewing my own beer, which has been interesting but comes with delicious results. Tried an apple hefeweizen the first time and it ended up being rather light but spectacular. Second time around I added too much sugar and got some sort of beer/champagne combination. Tasted like a beer with the fizz and alcohol content of a hefty champagne (around 16% when tested). Definitely a good one. Since then I've gotten a bit better at evening out things so I get consistent 7-10% ABV and good flavors. Most recent one was a dark mint ale, which was interesting, but not bad.

Other than that, hell, I'll drink about anything you give me. I'm not above chugging a Bud or Coors now and then. And I drink my beers from a mug, can, bottle, beer glass or plastic cup. Or straight from the keg, which is being carried over my shoulder while walking down the street (fun story in that one, btw).

I don't like Beer.
I like Cider. But beer? Eh, can't drink the stuff.
I also like vodka, whisky, and various spirts, but NOT beer. One of the only things I just can't drink.

So... Get shunning.

That said I'm the only person in my friend group who actually enjoys beer, it makes me sad :(

You're tough, but fair. I'll have to remember to do that once it's a bit later in the day.

I drink bitters, scotch and cider mostly.

In summer I'll pretty happily drink Pimm's and lemonade, that stuff is nice.

I only really drink stuff I like the taste of.
And not out of mugs.

I won't touch lagers, not keen on stout and 'cidre' can go fuck itself.

I don't drink as often as I used to, but when I do, it's usually from Stone Brewing Co. in Escondido, California. My favorite so far being the Oaked Arrogant Bastard Ale. They have some tasty brews. People seem to underestimate it at first but usually enjoy it and say it's quite tasty. However, their line of beers have been called 'harsh' or 'aggressive' and may not be to everyone's liking.

[small]Edit: I also seem to have taken a liking to ciders. Om, nom, nom.[/small]

Those pansy glasses are why every man needs a tankard. I have one because I clearly don't look enough like a metalhead-viking already.

Acting like a norse god should be a real mans default setting, not just when in doubt. Anyway real men don't doubt themselves, they just do things!

I like lagers when its warm, real ales when its cool.

I tried american beer on one occasion and I couldn't bring myself to put it anywhere near my lips since. That stuff is just vile. There is only one true man drink, and look upon it and know it, for it is truly sacred.

How is American beer like having sex in a canoe?
It's fucking close to water.
Damn right it is. I remember some family members from Boston who came to visit for a few weeks. My cousin decided to drink with me and my bro. He passed out after 6 beers. [HEADING=3]Six beers.[/HEADING]

When I move to America, I should stick to the five percent beers so I don't become weak...
I forgot to add that we also drew dicks on his face and my brother(who is gay) told him: "How does it feel like when a ****** outdrinks you? Fag."

Nova Scotian here. Keith's or nothing. Budweiser tastes a bit watered down, Stella Artois lager and light beer are for girls. I've always wanted to taste Red Irish ale, though. Anyone ever went to U.S. and had their beer? Christ sake, that stuff's weak.
Check your facts, man. American beer, unlike it's it's mans, are not all created equally. Look not upon the Miller, Coors, or Budweiser, for such deceivers shall lead you astray. Look instead to Shiner, or Widmer Brothers, or Rahr and Sons, or Saint Arnold, or maybe even Sam Adams, if you are in a hurry, for there is the promised land of quality beer.

That said, Balticka, Guinness, Killians, and Molson have a dedicated place in my stomach, and fridge. Tsingtao is pretty tasty, though distinct. Honestly, if it's a red or a stout, of any kind, I'm happy. I tend to keep away from IPAs, though.
