Probably a crow.. I have a hoard of 'em. They follow me around nearly anywhere. Pretty funny tohugh.
Isn't it a "murder" of crows when they are in a group together?

@EcksTeaSea

F*ck is that?! Scared me a bit.. for some reason.. >>

OT:
You're fine, man. I've got a Raven following me around most times, at least when I look for it. I feed it bread and things, so it probably likes me. Never really watched to see if it follows me around all the time.. I'll probably start doing that now.
I dunno. Feed it bread? That seems to work. Birds like bread. Nom nom.

You must have sex with it to break the tension.

Or stop being so damn paranoid.

hahaha, ha, ho.
It is at this point you should be asking fellow escapists to begin praying for your immortal soul, lest the devil taketh what his messenger desires.

It probably loves you. It wants to be with you. The other birds hate it , because it visits strange websides and wears human-costumes. They call it a "skinny" and throw rocks at it.

FFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU...!

Why did you have to remind me of 'ol Slendy? I'm about to go to bed here in a minute, and now it's going to take that much longer to get to sleep.

But yeah, in all likelihood, you're imagining it. Of course, there's always the possibility that it's an omen. If it's a bad one, then you're in an Edgar Allen Poe poem; you're screwed. If it's a good one, then you're in a poem by Samuel Taylor Coleridge. In that case, do not, under any circumstances, shoot it with a crossbow. It may not be the same species as the original poem, but why risk it?

OK internet i need your help. for some reason all day I've been being followed by a largish black bird (i cannot identify it). when i enter a building it just sits in the tree and as i walk around my college campus it just hops from tree to tree following me. i don't feed birds and I've never had a pet one that escaped. so can i hear any reasons for why this is happening, and just saying this, its not cause im crazy, i asked a bunch of random passerby also saw it. also as a speak it is sitting in a tree outside my apartment. this must be what going crazy feels like.
Obviously you have attracted the attention of the Dark One. Did you happen to name him? That is a big no no. Also, watch out for women whose age you can't place and men with cloaks that blend in with the environment.

They say that they're the messengers of the dead. Are you doing anything to give like, a dead granny the shits?

Don't discount the 'birds are arseholes' theory either. They seriously are. Often the bigger the bird, the bigger the arsehole it is... Emus. I rest my case.

1) Confirm its identity as a crow (if you're lucky)
2) Wait for hunting season (late fall around here)
3) Go out of any city limits, and into public land (it will follow)
4) Take out shotgun (gauge and make/model your preference), bird shot or target shot will do fine
5) Open end goes toward bird
6) Season, bread, fry in oil
7) Enjoy

It is the Herald of Change. You have the raven god's attention. Expect anything from extra limbs, magical/psychic powers, an alteration of eye and or sight, and the marking of the Flame of Change. It is the Changer of Way's mark. THE RAVEN FLIES!
