Best and worst Voice Acting

Best: X-Men Origins: Wolverine
Surprisingly enough, it's probably some of the best voice work I've ever heard on a console game. Jackman delivers his lines flawlessly, and every primal roar, blood-drenched scream of pain and cornball comic book monologue feels natural.

Worst: Mega Man X4

Most of the obvious choices are taken, so I'm going to nominate Grandia II in the "best" section. The VA was great, not exactly a magnum opus, but worlds better than one would expect from a JRPG.

For worst, I'm going with Dynasty Warriors. Mostly DW3. The awfulness was glorious! It mostly deserves mention for being the kind of bad VA that makes a game better.

I'd say Resident Evil has the best voice acting because it's the worst. It's so bad that it has never failed to make me laugh. Playing as Jill got some of my favourites between her and Barry.

It may be funny but it is still terrible, especially the live action intro.

I honestly think Team Fortress 2 has some of the best voice acting ever. Each character's voice has a unique and identifiable personality to it. Watch "Meet the Engineer/Scout/Sniper/Heavy/Soldier/Sandvich" on YouTube if you don't know what I mean.
The Syphon Filter series had good voices too.

Worst... the missions in Dawn of War's Soulstorm expansion had possibly the worst voice acting I've ever heard.
And Oblivion was hilarious. Especially the beggars, whom would instantaneously change from an old-raggedy voice to a tough middle-class voice in a second, and then back again.

I learned of an rpg with voice acting so bad that I could not believe it was the real voice acting. Where the producer had his own kids voice the entire thing. Where the main character sounds like a lesbian and his friend sounds like she's bored with the game. It will come to me. Chaos Wars?

Worst: Guy who does English Ichigo Kurosaki. Half of his dialogue is random grunting. I'm not joking.

I always really enjoyed the voice acting in the later Jedi Knight games - post Dark Forces, Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy.
