This statement has been true ever since I started working. And, yes, it still sucks.
I'm not saying i'm super talented but it gets to the point where other people only have 2 options. They would want to be like you or wish that your talent ceases to exist. In my experience people usually take the second option. I've learnt that boasting also makes people take the second option. I remember acting stupid to get people to like me.
