Ladies and gentlemen, I give you: Last Night On Earth [http://www.flyingfrog.net/lastnightonearth/]

It can be short and is a huge blast. It's basically what the L4D versus should've been.
A zombie board game?! That's awesome, and I am more than slightly interested!

I've never heard of Stratego

Googled it, and damn I want to play that

Me, personally? I actually love a good game of Hide and Seek

Especially now all my friends are cunning young adults, rather than the "stand behind the door" kids we used to be. People are all over the place

Does Carcassone count? Because once you get the hang of it, its pretty interesting.

Not to mention its easy to put away, long games are the bane of my existence because I have an incredibly short attention span, so I've had a lot of situations where me and a friend have set up a game that takes forever to set up and then 9 turns later we decide to do something else

That's better than my brother. We'd start a game, and when he was losing he'd quit. When I was growing up I never finished a board game, lol.

Trouble is definitely a classic - I remember playing that as a kid.

Monopoly.

So much so my third personality is Toodles Spiffingly, The Wanker Banker. He burns orphans to heat his six-storey country manor.
I lol'ed. Again, I'm hearing a lot of monopoly, but has anyone played Anti-Monopoly?

It depends who you are playing with and under what circumstances. Monopoly is the best party game (especially when everyone is drunk), but Risk is the best board game to simply sit down and play.

Apples to Apples (I know, it's technically a card game) is awesome. I also love Risk: 2210 AD.
I've actually had a friend tell me about Risk 2210 AD. Is it like the original Risk?
