As I said in the previous thread, all books I ever had to read in school were awful.

Not a one was in any way good. They were all just biased text books and filled with overly religious subtexts.

Lord of the Flies, Brave New World, The Hobbit, My Side of the Mountain, The Outsiders, and Into Thin Air. I also liked MacBeth and Othello. My favourite book I ever read in school (it was highly recommended, not mandatory)
Was Animal Farm. A perfect take on humanity.

Of Mice and Men and To Kill A Mockingbird are two of the best. Animal Farm was really good as well.

I read House of Leaves on my own during school to do a report on it. That was... That was an experience, to say the least.

My favorite was probably A Separate Peace. I just really felt the setting, and the characters were really well constructed. I kind of liked Dante's Inferno and The Count of Monte Cristo too.

Of Mice and Men and Fahrenheit 451 were both okay.

I also enjoyed The Giver when it was read to us in elementary school, but for whatever reason the teacher stopped reading it about halfway through so I never got to find out how it ended.

Of the ones I was required to read? Beowulf, The Odyssey, Macbeth, and Animal Farm

I read a bunch of fantasy novels, too. I love me some R.A. Salvatore.

"The Giver", "Fahrenheit 451", "The Holy Bible" (you never said 'only public school')
So many good books so little time.

It was on a list of books we had to choose in grade 11 Honors English to do a project on, and god-damn am I thankful I picked it. A fantastic read, to say the very least.

I also enjoyed The Giver, To Kill a Mockingbird, and Romeo & Juliet when I had to read them in class.

username says it all.
Wuthering Heights was the most fun i've had with books since I binge read the Lord of the Rings.
