Best Boss ever?

For me its The End from MGS3. An hour long manhunt and sniper duel. No specific way to do anything and following the footprints was inspired.

Who is your favourite Boss and why?

So far, I'll have to go with Tidal Wave from the PS2 Transformers game from 2004. He is, quite literally, an aircraft carrier that walks like a man. Plus there's a variety of strategies you can use to bring him down: rely on rechargable shields and rocket launchers, drive around the beach and squeeze off shots from your sniper rifle, take off from a rock pinnacle and fly right in his face, ... this fight is just epic.

DMD is all but balanced.

Well, yeah, but playing it on 'Sane person' difficulty is a nice battle.

I'm going with MGS3 too. Either "The Sorrow" since in order to win that fight you were the one who had to die. Or "The End" No need to explain This Boss fight was so epic that it has been mentioned everytime through out the history of naming boss fights.

Actually On-topic: Probably the end boss of SotC because he made me feel so helpless.

The End was a great boss of what I can remember. I only borrowed MGS3 from a friend for a while a few years ago so I can't remember much of it.
