Best cheap game youve ever bought?

I'd have to go with American McGee's Alice for $4.50. It was packaged with another game (Clive Barker's Undying, I think) for a $9 package deal. I loved that game.

I've gotten a lot of cheap games over the years... maybe Command and Conquer: Tiberian Sun for $0.01 was my best (not a typo, it was one penny). When a game doesn't sell for too long at Gamestop, they mark the price down to one penny. 99% of the time the employees just buy them before the public can. I know a manager, so he lets me take my pick before the rest of the employees get to them.

Theme Hospital. Yes, it is like any number of theme games like theme park, theme zoo, etc, but it is filled with the most fantastic black british humor. For example, the first disease you get is Bloaty head, where thy literally send in a man with a head three times too large, burst it with a pin and reinflate his head with a bike pump. $10

Usually, if I want to play a game for under $7, I'll find a good, free game, like the old Elder Scrolls games, or a Rom of an old console game. There's too many old, good games to name that you can find for free.

EDIT: Vavle had a sale on steam I got Half Life: Opposing Force and Half Life: Blue Shift for $1.69 each. It was totally worth it.

Blast Works: Build, Trade, and Destroy is a nice Wii shmup for only $15. The best part is the user-generated content, you can design your own levels and enemies.

I picked up MGS 2 for $3. And this was only a few years after it's release. And this was from Gamestop. PEOPLE MUST REALLY HATE RAIDEN!

I found Lord of the Rings Return of the King for about $5. It's not a fantastic game by no means but was a pretty fun hack and slash for a cheap price. I still occasionally pop it in to play, if the god damned backwards compatibility worked.

Yesterday I bought FEAR 2 for $8.98 off amazon. And it said it was new. We shall have to see how good of a deal that turns out to be.
