So, what is if not the best, but a good cure for a Sore Throat. Right now i'm eating Toast and that seems to help, I gargled with saltwater which gave me a runny nose from bacteria death, and im about to take some honey and lemon, anything else you guys know about?

Honey and lemon always works for me, and depending on the type of sore throat an Innocent fruit smoothie can go down really well (if you use it on the wrong type then expect lemon in a cut type pain (totally not speaking from experience...honest)).

Usually a cold, thick, syrup poured directly into the back of my moth seems to do it for me.

I would suggest something else which many experiments say work....but...I don't think you want to.

I always just went with salt water (lots of salt). Make sure the water is hot, it helps dilute the salt crystals. Once that is done, some chloroseptic (spelling on that is butchered, but oh well) and all should be well.

Also, blow your nose A LOT. Most sore throats are caused by drainage into the throat from the nasal cavities. Blow your nose any time you sniffle, and it will go away MUCH faster.

Take a glass of normal, everyday, sweet tea, and heat it up. Then add honey and lemon juice.

Something else that helps is grind some aleve into powder and dissolve it into a little bit of your hot, honey-ey, lemony tea, and drink that first. Your throat will absorb some of the medicine on it's way down, which helps with pain relief. Then relax and enjoy your tea.

Listerine.

Take a dose of listerine, then tip your head back, and allow it to drain to the deepest recesses of your head. Don't gargle, you got to let it get as far back there.

The gag reflex should kick in.

Let the listerine treat the surface on the first day of a sore throat and it usually cuts my sickness duration by half.

Of course, that may be confirmational bias on my part, but I do it anyway.

Any cough syrup that has a name anything like 'Bronchial Balm'

Super awesome ingredients include: Chloroform, Toluene, Benzaldheyde, Anisole, Menthol, various aromatic oils (usually linseed or tea tree oils) and if your lucky upto 4% Alcohol. Lots more things that I can't remember too.

Also, if you are having trouble sleeping take 1/2 bottle of the stuff in a couple of hours plus one beer. Works every time.

everclear. if the bacteria survives that then it deserves to be there.
My dad did this for me when I was little. It helped, but DAMN did it sting on the way down...
