What was the best death scene in a movie that you have seen?

For me it was in DayBreakers (Masive spoiler in here, so dont read if you havent seen it yet.

When Edward's brother was human again, and he used his own body to distract the vampire soldiers so his brother could be safe, then turn them into back into humans, thus making more vampires kill them, untel like, there where only five humans in the room.

Doomsday.

The time when they burn someone alive and then eat him.

That sticks out the most in my mind.

Kill Bill Volume 2.

When Bill dies. The dialogue and acting between Uma Thurman and David Carradine is amazing.

Jet Li's Kiss Of The Dragon had some pretty cool death scenes, even if a little bit messy at some points.

Day of The Dead.

When Captain Rhodes gets overwhelmed by the zombies and they take him down then rip him in half. But being the badass he is he utters the quote "Choke on em...Choke on em."

I salute the guy.

Dammit. Confused by the movie title, I knew I did something wrong. Thanks for pointing it out.

Is it cheating to say the entire third act of Braindead/Dead Alive?

EDIT: I thought about it. It is cheating. Those are deanimation scenes.
Best actual death scene would have to be
right at the end, Leon's beautifully downplayed fall, then when Leon gives Stansfield the pin. Oldman's flat "shit." is just priceless.

One of my favourite death scenes of all time is from Equilibrium

It's really the entire end sequence

End of Lord of the rings when...

Frodo and Gandalf and the elves drift off into the sunset, and it's quite touching in the movie... but in the books the scene's described as what Gandalf described death being to Pipin back in the city. The entire elf race, and Frodo and Gandalf, all ride a boat off to their deaths simply because they think they have to. I believe I hear the word "cult" come to mind. Maybe they had "elfish mead".

Then there's the guy from Hot Fuzz who had the giant spike from the cathedral land on his head. I laughed my ass off at that, because it looked like someone crushed a watermelon.

Sergeants Elias and Barnes in Platoon, for different reasons.

Otherwise William Blake's death in Dead Man, he takes the whole film.
