I wondered out from Oasis when I heard some Enclave troops. Couldn't see them untill I dicovered an abyss. Just took out my Fat Man and fired randomly down in the pit. Direct hit. Not particularly awsome but it has stayed in my memory.

I didn't have the patience for fallout 3. but my favorite moment i DID have was killing a dude in the sewers with a mini nuke and getting a bubble darrel shawed off sotgun. and then dying on the way out because i stepped on a bear trap.

one of my favorite moments playing this was just after i finished operation anchorage. because i got the achievement for finishing the final quest, then suddenly i got the 'You gotta shoot 'em in the head' achievement. but that aside most of my favorite moments are using VATS and seeing a super mutants body explode into tiny bits.

My favorite is releasing the caged super mutant behemoth in the raider camp at that logging place (east of casey's garage) and letting it kill all the raiders. The south lip of the valley has a nice line of fire to the generator powering the electric door.

On-topic: I'm having a lot more fun running around as a Space Marine killing anything that moves, than I ever had playing the game normally.

when i played with my 1st female character, i was wandering throught he hilton hotel, sneaking and pulling off instant kills on every super mutant i saw, that was when i realised that sneak attack bonus realy is the shit (thankyou sir shmoopy; the reason why i made a sneaky character) it was just too amazing for me, because my character only had 4 endurance (because she's a girl) i dreaded super mutants with thier lager health bars, and was a realy low level so i needed to hide just to survive, i didn't even know there was a sneak attack bonus, and murdering all those mutants was just too amazing

Mine was at Big Town, I beat the quest there, and I saw this wastlander (he had a name which was Sam something) firing on a small band of raiders, that were in the town firing on the residents who were firing at the raiders AND Sam, so it was a warzone with around 13 guys total shooting at one another. It ended when a Aqua Pura caravan executed Sam with a bullet to the back of the head.

Point Lookout's 2nd quest has you tripping out on some seeds. The entire scene is beautiful and creative, and it ends in an emotional bang.

Hmm.. that would be either Tranquility Lane or one super awesome moment somewhere in DC there were like 10 Talon Mercs with robots coming from one side, like 15 raiders from the other one and shitloads of super mutants with machine guns defending a big house. I started sniping and mini nuking the shit out of all of them
