Isn't that the name of the achievement for killing 250 guys with a shotty in Army of Two? I might be wrong, since I know a lot of achievements adopt names from other mediums like movies and such.

so much shotgun love here, if zombies came a knocking I would NOT want to be seen with something that can run out of ammo gimme a katana or duel long swords then all I have to worry about it getting tired.

You do know, that the sword actually being rendered completely useless would happen first? And the fact you will be tossing blood into the air, and if that enters your body you are as good as zombied.

To whoever suggested the M-4, you are zombie food. The M-4 is basically an M16 with a shorter barrel, and as such fires a fully jacketed 5.56mm bullet, which makes a hole a little bit smaller than a pencil. In short, you have no stopping power. Zombies don't bleed to death, so you're going to have to toast a whole clip just to finish off one.

As for me, I'd rather have the Galil over the AK. But I've never used either, and am basing my prefrence solely on games(Galil appears to be more accurate over longer distances, but slow firing), I have no idea whether the games hold true to life or not. The XM8 looks to be the Assault rifle I'd pick if I had a choice though(and I'd much rather have a flak gun, it's my favourite gun out of all guns I've used in games).

The AK-74 is just an AK-47 that's been rechambered to fire M-16 ammo, so that choice leaves you up the creek as well.

As for me, I'd take the 12-gauge pistols from "Buck and the Preacher" for close-up punch, because those things just rock. Watch the movie, then tell me I'm wrong.
For melee backup, a flanged mace; *nothing* is better for busting heads.
For long-range sniping, I'd go with a .308 loaded with Nosler green tips. They combine great long-range accuracy with the punch of a hollowpoint.
And finally, as a main weapon, the Tompson submachine gun, AKA Tommy gun. This sweet little number is a fully automatic .45 with a 100-round magazine. Fill 'er up with Glazer Safety Rounds and every one of those hundred shots will remove a limb or a head. It just doesn't get any better than that.

Dual Desert eagles. A 12 gauage automatic shotgun. a Sledgehammer. And i don't know much about rifles. so ill just say a high-capacity rifle, with a scope and both Full metal jacket and Hollow-point ammunition. Molotov's wouldn't go astray either.

Anywho, on to the question. If I could choose ANYTHING? I'd be rockin a MECH and mowing those bastards down. But since those don't exist.....

Guns run out of ammo.... close range weapons risk infection.... Hmmm.... Can't very well go without a weapon though, so I suppose I'd have to go with a 12 guage shotty, and Desert Eagle for some head exploding, and a katana.

I don't think the "I'd love to shag a zombie" community have thought this little game through that well.

If you use either a chainsaw or a shotgun you're pretty much guaranteed to get covered in blood and therefore turned. No matter how awesome you think you are with said weapon, it's a bad choice.

Long range firearm would be the best choice and a bludgeoning weapon like a cricket bat, baseball bat or just a breeze block (cinder block I think they're called in the USA) to hurl around.

You could just buy a mark 1 Nissan Micra (tanks for JPs) and plough them all down with that.
