EDIT: can we stop saying shotgun.. it's annoying that everyone keeps thinking they'll help in a place other than zombie games. you will run out of ammo! Not to many places just have shotgun ammo layng out ready for the apocalypse

Chainsaw. Why?
Well imagine yourself in a house full of zombies, all of them closing, getting nearer and nearer to the place you hide. You get out of the hideout wielding a big ass chainsaw, killing every single thing in your path. 10 minutes later you cleared the entire house and your ready to go on.
