I can't decide between Toy Story 3 and Inception.
Those movies were the best movies I saw this summer.

My favourite was How to Train Your Dragon. I *loved* that movie! Toy Story 3, Kick-Ass, and Inception took home the silver, bronze, and honorable mention, respectively.

Inception, Toy Story 3, Scott Pilgrim versus the World, The Girl Who Played with Fire

All 4 of these were instant classics to me and very enjoyable for very different reasons. While the overall Summer was meh, I got some real stand out films that I'll enjoy for years.

Inception and Scott Pilgrim. Everything else was mediocre and forgettable or bad... Except for Predators which was awesome.

NOTE: Never got around to seeing Toy Story 3 so I don't count it.

EDIT: OH SHIT! I forgot A-Team came out in the summer. I fuckin loved that movie.

I ignored Toy Story 3 on purpose due to not being 12 anymore.

Damn - I wish that I was as cool and hip as you.

I haven't seen much this year, but the best movie that I saw was Toy Story 3. The only way that it could've been better was if it had a Brazil ending.

Inception, Scott Pilgrim, and Toy Story 3. Great films by talented people (Nolan, Wright, PIXAR, yeah, they've never made a bad movie). Haven't seen Predators yet though.

I would have to say Scott Pilgrim vs. The World - it's been a long time since I've sat there watching a movie and been unable to stop smiling. Inception was really good as well.

Didnt watch all that many movies, which I feel is rather unfourtunate for myself, as I always enjoy a good movie. The only two movie I saw this summer where The Expendables and Scott Pilgrim, and fuck all of you, I hated Scoot Pilgrim and loved The Expendables, of course I love any action movie where one or a few guys kill almost an entire enemy army.

BTW, are we talking the Best movie of the Summer, cause I doubt there was any really good movie. Or are we talking about our favorite, as my post answered that already, though like I also said, I hardly watched any movies this summer...

? whats wrong with you? Dont you know we arent supose to use the term "gamer" anymore? Also, two words, Michael Cera... actually he is just one of the reasons I hate the movie. That, and the overuse of game references, which I understand is essential to the Scott Pilgrim universe, which is further more a reason why I never cared about the damn comics. As much as I love videogames, I couldnt stand it all, its just... ughh...

Inception was probably the "best"; almost everyone saw it, and most of those people found it awesome. Personally, though, my favorite from this year was Scott Pilgrim.

Same here! I smiled the whole time (in comparison, I grimaced the whole time during Airbender).
As someone who grew up on video games, anime, and cartoons, I think Scott Pilgrim appealed to my inner child more than Toy Story 3 did. Still, I'd give Toy Story 3 this year's bronze medal for 3rd place.

I never saw Despicable Me but I've heard mostly positive things. If anyone saw it, how was it?

Despicable Me was okay, it had it's moments.

OT:hmmm well lets check what movies i saw and put them in order of how they ranked against each other.

1.Inception(Great movie)
2.Toy Story 3 (made me cry at least twice)
3.The Other guys( saw it twice god that movie is funny)
4.Iron Man 2( I think it came out in May, and it was decent not as good as the first but still enjoyed it.)
5.The Expendables ( ummm yeah body parts exploding, and one liners gotta love them)
6.The A-Team(cheesy, but not as much exploding bodies as Expendables.)
7.Salt (......at least I saw Angelina Joliee semi naked which is almost worth 10$)
