Kratos is by far one of the greatest anti-heroes ever. His background alone and how he was created is enough to cement him on my favorite characters list, but his solid ass-kicking skills and drive for revenge makes him my favorite character

To his credit the MC has his moments, but much like the Doom guy he doesn't have enough depth to him to make him stand out as "the best" (and no I have not read the novels).
