best game of the N64 generation?

I can't decide between Zelda: OOT, original SSB, Mario 64, Kirby 64, Banjo-Kazooie (& Tooie), Goldeneye, & Perfect Dark.
Another amazing classic for the time I spent on it was Donkey Kong 64 - I wish there had been a sequel.

Man I remember DK64 so hard.

GoldenEye 007, Doom 64, and Perfect Dark. However GoldenEye's single player was far superior to Perfect Dark's. PD had far too much slow down, and I really wasn't into the whole alien conspiracy and futuristic weaponry and whatnot, I preferred the earlier levels fighting DataDyne. After getting used to playing four player with bots in Perfect Dark, and how insanely addictive, fast paced, and customizable it was, it's near impossible to go back to GoldenEye's multiplayer.

007 Golden Eye for sure and Legend of Zelda. What? A woman played these games? Yeah I did. I loved them. My best friend at the time was the only way I could play them. Her brother had those and Mario Kart which we spent many hours playing all three games. We'd sneak in and play the games when he was gone.

My favorite was Perfect Dark. The Combat Simulator was so addicting. My brother and I would play that all day against the same team of mixed bots. We would play the level Grid all the time and act like we were in the Matrix.

My second favorite is a tie between the two Zeldas. I liked the first one because it was so original but MM was just improved in so many ways. Both games bring back emotional memories.

Gex 64 for your information. That game is very very dated. There is a level based on titanic if I recall. I remember it being kinda fun

I would personally have to say ocarina of time or mario kart 64. both can still be played today for the most part. their great.

Super Mario 64- The second revolutionary game to the 64, would have to be Super Mario 64. It of course stared our favorite character, Mario. In the Mario series, this would have been its very first 3D game, which made 3D games become so popular.
