If you could answer in this format it would make the choices easier to see:

EDIT: I seem to have confused some people when I said sports. I meant all the sports meaning racing/driving games included but to make it easier I will add a racing section and a TPS section as well.

FPS: Halo 3. In terms of design, it's the best multiplayer game ever.

RPG: Final Fantasy VI or VII; they're both so great.

MMORPG: MapleStory, I guess. Only MMO I've ever played for any substantial amount of time.

Strategy: Age of Empires II (The third game is prettier but not as fun)

Horror: Resident Evil REmake

Music: Just Dance 3- F*** all y'all, this game's awesome!

Sports: Don't play many sports games, but I've always loved Mario Tennis. If we're sticking to the realistic side of the genre, Fight Night is awesome.

Puzzle: Dr. Mario. Everybody else is gonna say Tetris or Portal, but damn it, THIS game is king!

Simulation: Again, I don't play that genre much. Animal Crossing, I suppose, if that counts.

Action: That's kind of vague. God of War?

Fighter: Killer Instinct or Skullgirls

Adventure: Maniac Mansion or Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People

Best Story: Oof... tough decision. I'd say the Zelda series. It's never had the BEST plot, but it was doing decent, complex story before anybody else was.

Best Franchise: Mario.

Best Franchise: I'd give this to Command & Conquer but EA ruined the last games of the series. So the winner is Pokemon, for giving me years of joy and replay. I can always pick one up again and lock a solid 30 hours in.
