PS controller's best with me.

It seems to fit perfectly in my hands.
Same here, and the controls are easy too (The Xbox is just weird in its shape and stuff).

I also like the wii, simply because you don't have to sit with your hands 2 inches apart, instead you can have them on opposite sides of your body.

Playstation 3, X-Box is too big and the D-pad is awkwardly placed.
Exact opposite problem with me. I feel like the PS3 controller was designed for small Asian hands as they are a Japanese company and the Xbox controller fits perfectly in the hands of everyone i know. Even the 5 foot nothing girls I know who are quite on the tiny side in most respects.

I don't care that it's the most inaccessible controller of all time. The fact that the controller costs 3 times as much as the only game you can play with it is just sheer awesome. You can't honestly say you don't feel like a badass playing with it.

To be honest, I kind of wish developers did this kind of stuff more often. Who needs to adapt to the standard controllers?
I always loved that controller. I wish that I owned one and also that it was usable for more than one game. It would be really cool.

My favorite is still the Game Cube controller. Maybe it's because I have slender fingers, but I found it's design to be the most comfortable of any controller I've ever used.

The 360 is alright, but it's still too large, I keep wishing I was able to use the GCN controller instead.
The PS controllers have just been eh... pretty blah. They work but they're not great.

In order for me, based on the ones I've used:
Playstation 2
Gamecube
SNES

And for playing roms I use a SNES USB controller so :).

My favorite controller of all time was the gamecube controller. The 360 controller is second.

I'm guessing this goes to an equally badass flight sim? lol. Pretty cool, though. My old Joystick feels inadequate by comparison.

But yeah, I agree that it would be cool if developers did this more often. Obviously I can understand why they don't, but if they did it could lead to some incredibly immersive games, though they wouldn't be as readily accessible (for obvious reasons).

The original Xbox controller is the manliest controller in existence, so I'll go with that.

360 or Cube for me, as I kinda prefer the "staggered" analog sticks that they share to the DualShock's more symmetric design.
On the topic of the Nintendo 64, I find it really hard to go back to, not because of the triple-prong design, but the single analog stick, and especially the stupid ribbing on the top of the stick that chafes my thumb.

I love the playstation controllers just because they have stayed the same. (except for the middle button on dualshock 3 but oh well!)

I love my old wireless gamecube controller except for the loud click of the shoulder button, i like the PS3 controllers because they to are wireless but the L2R2 buttons are a minor annoyance but not bad.

I used to think the Gamecube was the best, but I'd have to say the 360. It's just so comfortable. I agree with the problematic dpad though. Specifically on 2d games.

Actually, it's from a mecha combat game.

Steel Battalion: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steel_Battalion

OT: I'm going with a close tie between the 360 and PS3 dual shock. PS3 'cause I grew up on the Playstation, and I find them very comfortable and all around excellent controllers.

360 because I can just plug it into my laptop and have it work. The D-pad is annoying though. It occasionally won't register taps, so I have to sit there and tap it repeatedly until it realises that I actually want to use it.

So yeah, the PS3 is superior in my book.

Yes, I'm gaming on my laptop. Shut up.

EDIT: I just watched some Steel Battalion videos on YouTube, I now want to play the Metal Gear combat sections in MGS4 with that controller. =D

Even more badass. If I had some extra disposable income I might've checked it out, cause I'm sure it was pretty awesome.

And I'm not saying anything about laptop gaming. I tried that on my Toshiba Laptop, but I was forced to kick myself in the teeth when I realized the Graphics card is integrated into the motherboard, and therefore not upgradeable to meet today's graphics demands.
