Most of my good deals were free. Like getting Fallout 3 for free because my mom and dad accidentally bought me two copies of another game at Christmas. So I just traded one in.

Also, I've been borrowing Grand Theft Auto 4 from my buddy for a month or two now. I think I'll get Lost and the Damned soon.

Oh, yeah, and Orange Box for $15 dollars, used but not 'used.'

Got my original xbox and KOTOR for 100 bucks. KOTOR is my favorite game and I got a great console! Awesome deal.

You're kidding right? Too many choices. Was it the Orange Box for $40? Total War: Eras, or Empire Total War? Bioshock for $5? Empire Earth Gold Edition? Guild Wars? I'll never be able to narrow it down.

Mount and Blade, it was only 5 bucks on steam and its a game basically no one has heard of, or will hear of, but god damn is it fun. I can't wait until the multi-player expansion, that shit is gonna be bananas.
Was that a special that they had? It's $30 on Steam right now. That'd be a hell of a deal.

I just bought Orange Box today, paid a measly $20 for it and it is no doubt the best twenty dollars I have spent. What is the best gaming purchase you have ever made? A game that you paid very little for and was fantastic? A game you dont think you will ever stop playing?

(On a side note, please go out and get Orange Box, a fantastic bunch of games for only $20!)
Gotta say this. I was amazed when I saw it for $20. I have so many hours racked up in TF2.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I was younger then, and I almost picked Quest 64, so I'm really glad that I dodged that bullet.

If you watch out, you can get some sweet deals. Bioshock: $5. S.T.A.L.K.E.R: $5. M&B: $7.50. Far Cry 2: $15. And the list goes on...

Easily Wow for me. Played for 2 years and racked up about 60 days (1440 hours) play time. Now that is pretty decent value for $400.
