Am I the only one who finds it kind of strange how many of the characters picked are Valve characters?

Dang, GLaDOS has been taken already and everybody seems to like Jade.

Personally, I think Samus is coolest because she does/did the whole Sapce Marine (bounty hunter, whaterver) thing first and did it better than today's kill-everything-that-moves-MAIM-DEATH-KILL!!! protagonists today. Also, the fact that exploration and puzzle solving take precidence over shooting makes for varied, and better, gameplay.

Yeah she was a bit whiny, but Jaheira had this self-righteous air about her that just irked me. Always going on about balance and all that crap. Yeah, no thanks. I'll stick with the naiver, yet adorable Cleric/Mage.

They're both great in my opinion, although I prefer Jaheira, to be honest. Aerie was really sweet, and her naivete was quite touching, but Jaheira seemed much tougher and more able to take care of herself. That being said, she still has a sensitive side to her; her speech when you find Khalid's body nearly had me in tears.

Plus, I understand the True Neutral point of view much better than I do Lawful Good.

Well I know she was caring, but still. And I'm always a 'good' guy. I can't be evil, or apathetic. But I guess it's different strokes for different folks, right?

Or, in this case, different elves for different...nerds?
Whatever!

Anyway, the answer is "Everyone voiced by Jennifer Hale". Except Bastila, who annoyed me for exactly the same stuck up self righteousness that meant Jaheira was doomed to the outer reaches of non-recruited party members.

Alyx Vance... the only main female character who isn't the immediate love interest/ sexual object of the main protagonist and is also an emotionally deep character who could actually be a real person.

Very few female (or male for that matter) characters pull off both of these.
