Agreed. You have to have a rock as a heart if you don't cry while watching that. Another of my personal favourites is Sunset Boulevard. Gloria Swanson's performance is just so amazing! Blade Runner (DC) and Sixth Sense are also very strong, because both of them tell something about the main character that has been there for the whole movie. They don't just end, they make you rethink the whole film again.PhiMed said:All these pale in comparison, though, to the greatest ending of all time: One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. I'm serious. If you haven't already, go see it. Right now.
Did you know that The Departed is actually a rip off of Infernal Affairs, a japanese movie that was soooo much better.kduff51 said:I really liked the ending of The Departed
maybe i should of done that, but the chances of me doing that might of been higher if you didn't flamebaitchstens said:Okay, sorry for doing this, but I am sick of and tired of this mistake. IT'S "HAVE" NOT "OF"! IT'S NOT "SHOULD OF" (OR IN THIS CASE, "MIGHT OF") IT'S "SHOULD'VE" (MIGHT'VE), WHICH IS AN ABBREVIATION OF "SHOULD HAVE" (MIGHT HAVE)! WHEN ARE PEOPLE GOING TO GET THIS RIGHT?rekabdarb said:unfortunately there might be a new series because the author said "Spike only did what the person thought, he might of died or just past out... who knows?"Hubilub said:It's just something about the feeling as the buildings go tumbling down while the music plays that feels... perfect in an incredibly obscure way, but still perfect
Honorable mention goes to the end of Cowboy Bebop, which sadly gets disqualified for not being a movie.
See you, Space Cowboy... *sob*
OT: I second Holy Grail, it comes out of nowhere, but it isn't completely random.
