I agree Forrest Gump is possibly one of the best movies of all time. NOt my favourite, but one of the best.

In Bruges
the greatest movie no one has ever seen.
Also, the original Star Wars trilogy. They're not the best movies ever but they're my favorite.
I saw that and wasn't really impressed... apart from when the midget is shot.

OT: Casablanca, such well written story with great acting.

Repo! The Genetic Opera
Zorro, the Gay Blade (If you have not seen this George Hamilton awesomeness, I glare at you)
Five Girls
Dead Silence
IT
The Villain (The Governator in an early, awesome role)
Nightmare Before Christmas
Princess and the Frog
and Seven Blades (Really good live-action martial-arts version of the Seven Samurai legend/story)

Hrm...The Tenth Kingdom was quite enjoyable. War Games, likewise. Lord of the Rings was very good, with the notable flaw of NO TOM BOMBADIL. >:-|

HOWEVER!

All of these, yea, all of movie-dom, from Some Like It Hot to Avatar, pale in comparison to the epic that is the Star Wars trilogy!
