As a product of the 80s, I grew up with 90s films. I saw the good (Pulp Fiction) and the bad (Meet the Deedles), the revolutionary (The Matrix) and the mundane (Fear), the over-the-top action (Con Air) to the run-of-the-mill suspense (Murder in the First), the old hands (Francis Ford Coppola) passing the torch to new blood (Kevin Smith). The 90s produced a very unique group of movies with several styles and memories to be cherished.

Okay, rant over... what I want to hear is: what is your favourite movie from this decade?

Heat. It's just got to be. Robert De Niro, Al Pachino, directed by Micheal Mann and an awesome soundtrack. Slick action, great acting, and a decent story. What more do you need?

Any movie with a stupid plot, aimed at kids, and that stars a famous person who has never acted before and shouldn't act again. Anything like that, or anything that Whoopi Goldberg was in, was always hilariously bad, and I never saw any movies made like those after the 90's.

Terminator 2: Judgement Day = Best movie of the 90s.

I don't normally do this, but /thread.

Favourite? Well that's a difference matter.

'Wayne's World' defined my 90s ... It was (and still is) an epic, defining movie.

But as for the best movie of the 90s...it's gotta be Pulp Fiction; which is the best movie ever made.

They still show up, like Snow Dogs with Cuba Gooding Jr. and Unaccompanied Minors with that Daily Show guy from Accepted, Lewis Black. On a related note, does anybody know what happened to Mr. Gooding Jr? He's done a ton of movies since Jerry Maguire, but none of them ever seem to be any good.

its my most favourite movie ever.
Well while a lot of people seem to have pulp fiction in their minds and hearts. I'm going with this because I haven't seen the other one yet.

Wow! A lot of people share my opinion of Pulp Fiction. I would've guessed, though, considering it's an Oscar and Palme d'Or winner and is currently rated the 5th best movie of all time on IMDB (behind Shawshank, Godfather 1 and 2, and Good Bad and Ugly). Actually, come to think of it, where are the Shawshank fans on this thread?

I'm happy to hear that someone else liked that particular Marky Mark movie, but is that REALLY among your favourites from this decade?
